A life long goal has been to leave the corporate life and get back to 'the woods'. I've been blessed to have the opportunity and to be able to share it with other travelers. I am passionate about ensuring you have an 'experience' when you come to 'The Valley'. You work hard, and need a place to get away from the stresses of the world... enter 'The Cinnamon Valley'!. I live locally and am on property daily - assisting customers and ensuring our resort is in pristine condition. My boyfriend and I booked our stay at Cinnamon Valley for a quick weekend getaway. Neither of us had ever been to Eureka Springs. The property and cabin far exceeded our expectations. Mike was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. And the cinnamon bread was DELICIOUS!!! We loved the quaint feel of Euerka Spings and all the food was so so good!!!! The scenery was breathtaking.
We arrived at Cinnamon Valley as boyfriend and girlfriend, but left engaged!!! So this is now OUR special place and we will definetly be returning in the future.
Incredible setting on the slope of the valley right in the canopy of the trees. Every view was like you were 100' up. We had a very relaxing long weekend and couldn't have asked for a more serene environment. The only noise was that of the Cicadas putting us to sleep. The Eastern exposure made for beautiful sunrises coming over the opposing valley wall while sipping a cup of coffee on the beautiful deck.
The Elk Lodge is certainly a luxurious, comfortable and peaceful cabin. It is located in a remote area but close to shopping and dining. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is because the water coming from the taps had a bit of a sulfer smell when showering or using the jacuzzi.
My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend get away within a few hours of home. Our stay at the Elk Lodge in Cinnamon Valley was just what we were looking for. Very secluded, yet minutes from antique shopping and other activities. The lodge was beautiful and the host was very helpful with area information. We would like to try some of the other cabins in the future...they all looked very inviting!
My husband and first visited Cinnamon Valley almost 18 years ago. This past weekend we returned for our anniversary. It is a very relaxing and romantic place. The cabins are beautiful (we stayed in the Elk Lodge) and the fact that it's near town, yet it makes you feel like you're a million miles away, is one of my favorite things about it.
2 on property spring-fed lakes with catch and release fishing, paddle boat and canoe. Keels Creek Winery is located within .25 mile, and the nationally known Great Passion Play is only 1.5 miles away. The Ozark Mountain Hoe Down shares Hwy 62 frontage with our resort. One of the Eureka Springs Trolley stops located at the entrance of property.
