About Karla Elinoff
I'm from Honduras and studied in NYC before moving to Telluride in 2002. I work full time at Elinoff Gallery, the oldest, continuously owned business in Telluride and I also own the fondue restaurant in town called, "Alpinist & the Goat".
Karla Elinoff purchased this Studio in 1007
Why Karla Elinoff chose Telluride
I try to offer excellent value for renters to come to Telluride It's expensive here but this condo will be clean and affordable. It's in a wonderful location in the winter for ski-in, ski-out access and it has ski lockers of it's own, and in the summer, it's right along the river trail in town for summer activities.

Great location, easy to like
We only used this place to 6-7 hours a night while attending a festival but based on the location alone we’d return. The place is basic but has all the necessities.
Telluride is the best
Great location and just what we needed!
I waited a month to write this review because I was so upset. And I still have nothing nice to say. When I arrived at 7pm, the room wasn't clean. There was no tp, no clean silverware to eat dinner (only dirty dishes in the sink), the beds were messy, the wifi didn't work, and the t.v. didn't work. I called/texted the owner. He said he would send cleaners over. A half hour later I called him again and asked for a refund so I could stay somewhere else. No, dirty units happen sometimes. The cleaners weren't there yet but eventually showed up. Once the bed was made, I sat on it while they cleaned rest of the unit. My cloths and shoes were soaking wet and I just needed a place to sit, shower, and eat dinner. None of which I got. Two hours later, the room was poorly cleaned. There was dog hair all over the floor, (they didn't vacuum or sweep), and dirty wrappers under the bed. It was gross. I reset the modem and got the wifi to work. I rewired the t.v. and got that working. The t.v. is pushed back in a cabinet. If you move the tv the wires fall out. I am sure that is what the previous guest had done. The mirror was off the wall and placed behind the table. If you pull it out you can set it against the wall to use. And you can only watch tv from the bed. The unit is cheap, the owner doesn't care and it shows. Pay the extra money for another unit or sleep in a tent. Both would be better options than repeating a stay in this unit. I am very disappointed. I didn't need or expect much. But I also didn't need to pay money just to sit hungry in wet clothes because of someone else mess and mistake with an 'oh well' attitude.
She's right. The housekeepers didn't clean the unit. When she called at 9:00 pm the night of her arrival to say it wasn't cleaned, I was able to get a housekeeper there at 10:00 o'clock and they worked for two hours getting her apartment properly cleaned. New linens, towels, did the dishes, vacuumed and swept and mopped the floors. It was perfect. I'm sorry it wasn't cleaned before you got there. Sometimes mistakes occur but we were fortunate in being able to get it resolved. I don't know what she means by saying we don't care. We have 5 condos and we do our best to make sure they are cleaned and ready for each guest. Coming here is always the end of a long journey so people are tired but we do our best. Everything worked. Internet, TV, etc. etc. She claims she had to reboot the router. Okay. That' happens. Especially here at Bluegrass when we get slammed with 12,000 tourists in a town that normally has 1500 people and Time Warner Cable doesn't have the bandwidth for that load. But it's all that we have here. I offered her a refund if she wanted to take another condo but she didn't accept it, and that's because it wasn't so god awful as she suggested. She was just cranky and still is, a month later.
Perfect base camp!
This little room was perfect for three of us on a girls' weekend! The location was ideal, can't beat walking right out to the Chair 7, and it's a 5-15 minute walk anywhere else in town. It's a small spot (queen bed and twin daybed in the same room), no frills, but perfectly workable for us to make small meals, full refrigerator, SKI LOCKERS, and hotel-like soap/shampoo/conditioner in the shower. Lots of clean towels, the beds were super comfy (on the softer, fluffier side), and the only real complaint would be is that is does get a little noisy since it's overlooking the walkway between buildings. I would highly recommend this spot for two people (we squeezed three because we just wanted a place to sleep close to the mountain) who don't need much in the way of luxury, but value easy parking and loading/unloading, location and basic amenities. I will definitely stay here again in the future!
Perfect for a quick economical stay right by a lift.
