Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday apartment in Rione V Ponte - Interno 8 Home Holiday

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 4 Sleeps

'A masterpiece of human creative genius' cit. Unesco

Rome is a difficult reality to describe by words: archaeological sites, monuments, churches, Veneto street of Fellini's Dolce Vita or places of current and worldly politics. Many films have chosen Rome as set, but 'Roman Holiday' surely is one of the most well-known: Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn riding a Vespa around the city day and night, from Roman Forum to the little streets of Trastevere, from Trinità dei Monti to Castel Sant'Angelo, from Trevi Fountain to Via Margutta. The film's success, which made Vespa legendary worldwide, still today at fifty years of distance suggests one of the best way to enjoy your visit in Rome: let yourself be caught from the flow of Roman life, chaotic but at the same time capable of magic moments.

Interno 8 Home Holiday is located in a quiet street, 200 meters far from Piazza Navona. With its ornate fountains, baroque palazzi and colourful cast of street artists, hawkers and tourists, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most celebrated square. In the surroundings you can easily reach Piazza di Spagna, Via del Corso, Pantheon, Campo dei fiori. Many restaurants will allow you to enjoy Italian cooking.

The apartment is located at the 3° floor of a seventeenth-century historical building with elevator. It is a two-bedroom apartment, with kitchen, living room, dining room and two bathrooms (one of the bedrooms is with en suite bathroom). Furnished kitchen with all you need to cook; you will find different types of coffee machines, for a long American coffee or a good Italian espresso. The living room, with the sofa bed, is very spacious as well as the dining room, ideal to arrange a dinner for 6 people.

Sheets and towels will be provided. Washing machine and dishwasher are at your disposal.

We will be happy to help our guests to enjoy their visit in Rome. We can arrange a pick-up from all airports and train stations, guides; We'll be happy to give you tips for restaurants and activities. For any information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Wonderful neighborhood apartment near many sites

  • 4 of 5

This is a lovely two bedroom, two bathroom apartment where you will live as a true Italian living the dream! The decor is all you could ask for with a comfortable living room, dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen stocked with coffee for your early morning enjoyment. The only request I would recommend is for more bed pillows in both bedrooms.

Our host, Enrico, even had an assortment of cannoli's upon our arrival. Enrico also recommended a neighborhood restaurant that was truly the best dinner we had while on our trip. This apartment is centrally located and I would definitely recommend it to future travelers without any hesitation.

Location and attention to detail

  • 5 of 5

Vito Enrico has created a magnificent space for anyone visiting Rome. Located near the Piazza Navona and not more than 5 to 8 minutes walk from the Pantheon this was the perfect location to see the major sites in Rome. Vito pays attention to all the details and offers an accommodation that is clean, well furnished, modern and is located in a quiet neighborhood. He provides a smart TV with YouTube and NetFlex for English speaking guests. Vito even had Cannoli's and Lemoncello waiting for us when we arrived.

Great place and Vito is passionate about providing the best service on your visit to Rome. I highly recommend.

The best place in Rome to stay and more!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time in Rome and when we return we will absolutely look to rent this apartment again. The apartment is in the best location of the city. Truly it can't be beat given its proximity to all that Rome has to offer. Vito helped us arrange for car service to and from the airport (which is fantastic) and met us at the apartment when we arrived to make sure we settled in and had all we needed. He also has stocked the apartment with plenty of guidebooks, maps and other helpful resource tools for a visit to Rome and made wonderful recommendations for local guides which we thoroughly enjoyed (and would likewise recommend). The apartment was plenty big enough for me, my husband and our two teenage kids. The two full baths are good sized and the space itself is large enough to relax after a long day out and about and for anyone needing to get away, the upstairs bedroom offers a nice place for a nap and quiet time as well. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with all of the essentials and on the few days we didn't take advantage of all of the food options available to us in the city, we made some meals at home. It was very comfortable and easy to maneuver. I really could go on and on about the apartment and Vito. We had the time of our lives and we know that it was in part to having a great place to stay and the fact that Vito saw that everything was taken care of - down to providing us with a local cell phone and hotspot for our use as well as delicious espresso to drink every morning. If you are looking for a great place in Rome to stay with or without a family I would unequivocally recommend this place.

Wonderful Place in Roma

  • 5 of 5

My traveling party stayed at Vito's apartment and really enjoyed ourselves. The furnishings were delightful, and the apartment was plenty roomy for our party of four. The lift was much appreciated to transport our suitcases for a two week trip throughout Italy. The location was perfect for exploring Rome, and we loved the surrounding neighborhood and found lots of great spots to eat. Vito was so helpful with recommendations (especially our unforgettable tour with http://roma-bella.com/rome-tours as well as arranging transportation for us and making dinner reservations. He even surprised us with delicious treats in the refrigerator and a supply of espresso.

Incredible place

  • 5 of 5

We are first time VRBO users since in the past we typically stayed in resort hotels when traveling for pleasure. However, friends suggested we look at VRBO for a family trip to Rome, and that led us to Interno 8. From the moment we looked at the pictures, we knew it would be the place for our family. We looked at others, but kept coming back to it.

Vito is an incredible host. We made a mistake on the date of our arrival, and he was very helpful in correcting the arrival date for us. Upon our arrival he made a dinner reservation for us at a very good neighborhood restaurant. The cannoli that others have written about arrived, and they were wonderful. Vito referred us to a tour guide for the Roman sites that was an incredibly knowledgeable guide. He arranged a limo driver for our 5:30 am departure for the airport which was a real blessing as trying to catch a cab at that hour can be difficult. He even set up an English language Netflix account before our arrival knowing that we were traveling with our two late-teen kids.

The apartment location is outstanding. Two blocks from Piazza Navona. A few more to the Pantheon, then a few more to Fontana di Trevi. Walking distance to the Colloseo and Vatican. A waterfront stroll along the Tiber River was just minutes away. We walked everywhere, and found no need for a car. Even walking around the neighborhood at night was very safe feeling with lots of people out. If walking was out of the question, a taxi stand is just between the apartment and Piazza Navona. Many restaurants within a 5 minute walk, several right outside the apartment door. One nice thing is that the apartment is not on a busy plaza, so it was quite all of the time.

The apartment is everything you see in the pictures. It was perfect for our group of four. The place was spotless, and was stocked with extra towels since we had booked a 9 day stay. The décor was very inviting, warm, and even romantico! We felt very secure in the apartment, and never worried about our belongings. We would definitely stay in this apartment again.

We will have very fond memories of our stay at Vito's Roman apartment, and hope we have a chance to meet him again soon.

Wonderful apartment

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed in this lovely apartment from July 8 - 12, 2016. The apartment's location, near Piazza Navona, was great because we were central to so many things. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. The building had a lift. The apartment had air conditioning which was definitely needed during our stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He met us upon arrival and departure. He arranged for our airport transfer and gave us a wonderful list of restaurant recommendations. We would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends. We would rent it again for sure.
