Unfortunately I brought those excessive heat warnings from home. My apologies to the locals and the tourists for the 100-degree heat this August! (ha ha)
This room is within walking distance of most places in Gulf Shores. You will be about a block from the main intersection, where The Hangout is located, and it takes about five minutes to walk to the beach. You'll be thankful, especially around dinner time, when you see a lot of cars circling the nearby lots looking for a space and you don't have to deal with it. You will hear some noise from The Hangout at night. Driving to Orange Beach takes about 15 minutes, and to Pensacola takes around an hour depending on where you're going. I didn't have any issue with the parking. I think it's proper to send cars out to 1st Ave. to circle the block rather than making people turn directly onto AL-182 when leaving the building.
Even though it technically sleeps four, I would suggest no more than two people stay here.
Me and my husband stayed here for three night this summer. The condo is decorated very cute. I recommend only staying 1 or 2 nights here. 3 was too long in such a tiny room. This property has rude mean staff man who works there. He was very rude and unprofessional. He definitely does not know how to speak to renters. There is no pool or grill here which was very disappointing. You can't tell from the pictures but the condo is across the main street from beach. The room was nice for the price. Expect what your paying for. Nice little get away rent.
Loved the location as far as it being close to several restaurants, retail shops, and best of all, the beach was just on the other side of the road! The folks that work in the building to keep it running and clean were always willing to help if we needed anything. The ONLY issue I had was returning and trying to fight traffic to get to my slotted parking which is under the building. The flow of traffic into the parking area should be turned around. The rooms had everything you needed. It was a small room, but for my daughter and I, it was enough as well as being tidy and clean. Satisfied customer and hope to use again.
Exactly what we expected. Although the room was small, it was very neat and clean and met all of needs. My favorite part was the location! It was right in the middle of everything, and also right next to the beach. My husband and I plan to stay here again when we go back by ourselves. Very satisfied.
I have read so many reviews of beach front property and it makes me laugh people really expect something for nothing these days.
This unit was clean when we entered. Other than the music from the Hang Out and traffic we really didn't hear other room noise. It is a great price for the location. I would recommend it all day for people just wanting a get away place to stay which is all one should really want when going to the Gulf! This is for folks who want to walk the beach, walk to eat, walk to shop. You can stay in a nice home...at home. I would stay here again only thing I would do different is stay longer.
