My one week in this apartment was perfect. It is attractive from outside with roses and small grassy lawn. The place is well furnished, even with all sorts of kitchen ware and appliances. Comfortable bed and bedroom, small but efficient bathroom, all very clean and welcoming. The location is great too, easy walking in the area (there is a garage for a car, but I did not have one). The wifi is quick and reliable, the TV includes all sorts of channels, plus netflix etc. I highly recommend this apartment and hope to return there myself.
Clean, comfortable, fabulous location. Highly recommend.
My daughter and husband loved the house. You are a wonderful host and your home was lovely. You came through when we needed to extend and you were flexible and supportive.
Condo was excellent, clean and owner very accommodating. Great locations for us while we visit our daughter and family in LA.
This one-bedroom apartment is a great alternative to a hotel if you are staying in the area. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, and the living room has a pullout couch and comfy chairs, and big TV. There is a chest of drawers and a large closet in the bedroom, and the bed is great! Everything is spotless. There are shutters on the windows; open them to fill the house with light! I stayed here a week while a family member was in the UCLA , and was kind of sad to leave because it was so nice and close to everything it felt like a home away from home. Cynthia is great to work with, very responsive. Great for a couple or family with small kids--there is a fenced yard, with turf and lots of lovely roses.
This is not a slick, modern, shiny hotel. It's a weathered, charming, old-world kind of walk down memory lane. Not everything is perfect or in perfect working order, but it was clean and incredibly well supplied with linens and pots and more than perfect for us! And the host/landlord was unbelievably responsive and attentive to the few issues that came up. Really unusual for this day and age! We were visiting LA for a serious medical intervention, and having a quiet, charming, comfortable, well-equipped kitchen was more than we could have hoped for. We could load up the fridge with groceries, snuggle up with a nice big flat screen on the wall of the fireplace, and have wireless internet for staying in touch. And there was plenty of seating for visitors. The one down side is that the only air conditioner is in the bedroom, and it's quite loud if you're trying to sleep. This is probably not an issue in the cooler months. On the whole, this is a unique, homey, and tranquil setting that I would quickly visit again if the need arose.
