Our elegant 4-bedroom home is located in the exclusive neighborhood of Cheviot Hills, on the Westside of Los Angeles, 5 minutes to Beverly Hills, Century City, Westwood/UCLA and Culver City. 15 minutes to the beaches of Santa Monica and 15 minutes to downtown.
In the center of everything yet in a quiet park-like setting of hills, beautiful homes and mature trees with easy freeway access.
This luxurious rental has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on one floor, and a bonus large guest room with its own marble bathroom and private entrance on the first floor.
This is a tastefully designed home for discerning guests (Biedermeier bed set in master, high quality bedding, hardwood floors, beautiful details and decoration, skylights everywhere.)
We love great food and company, so you will find everything you need for gourmet cooking and dining, from Le Creuset pots to Villeroy and Boch plates. Our secluded rear garden includes a large mosaic table and seating for 8 under the pergola.
Public golf, parks, restaurants and freeway access are all within a mile.
We are a French American couple with children, who enjoy beautiful places, great food, quiet surroundings and good conversation. We travel often, so you will be staying in our home while we are away. This picture of us was taken by friends at our favorite restaurant in Brittany in France last summer!

We honestly think that Cheviot Hills is the most desirable location in the entire Los Angeles area, and we feel very fortunate to live here. Our home was built in 1938 and we have brought back some of its historic charm while upgrading to all the comforts of modern homes, including skylights throughout.
This is not created as a "rental" but is an upscale home for highly discerning travelers who appreciate beauty, design, attention to detail and comfort.
You will be staying in a secluded oasis in an exclusive neighborhood that is located, miraculously, in the center of the Westside of Los Angeles. Beverly Hills, Century City, Westwood/UCLA and Culver City are 5 minutes away. You can stay home and enjoy the surroundings, play golf, go to the beach or the park nearby, or explore all of Los Angeles area and Southern California with ease due to nearby freeway access. The beaches are 15 minutes away, and so is downtown.
My entire family of 6 stayed at the Moss Mansion for a week over the Christmas holidays and we all loved it! The house is even more gorgeous than the pics depict, there is a ton of natural light and the tasteful furnishing is beautiful. The location and proximity to restaurants, theB century city mall and highways were very convenient. The rooms are spacious and immaculately kept. My little nephew particularly loved the little garden in the back and it was awesome to have that private space. Finally the owners are incredibly nice and responsive - definitely a 5-star experience.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It is comfortable and pleasant. And Cheviot Hills is a great area -- convenient to the best of Los Angeles. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful time....the house is gorgeous, comfortable and the area was just perfect.
The home was as described and more. What a lovely neighborhood close enough to the 405 for traveling but far enough away from the noise. Lovely home and a great jump off point to visit Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City and of course LA. Was decorated well and ample room for all our guests. Had one minor issue but the owners representative handled instantly and made the trip even more enjoyable. The owners were gracious enough to leave a host of local shops, attractions, and restaurants they frequent that aided our stay. Great home and will come back when time allows.
We are 5 minutes from Beverly Hills, Westwood, and the Century City Shopping Center with great restaurants and theaters. One and a half mile to NewsCorp/Fox Studios and one and a half mile to Sony Studios. We love going to Culver City 5 minutes away, walking around, eating outdoors at restaurants or enjoying the Happy Hour at the Historic yet cool Culver Hotel.
