Located in the heart of the Sunset Junction area of Silverlake. Walk to boutiques, cafes, and world class restaurants or stroll in the hillside neighborhoods with views of the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park.
The unit has a full mini kitchen with in-unit washer and dryer and dining area. The sleeping area is furnished with a queen size bed with a brand new mattress, bed bug protector cover, and soft sheets. Adjacent to the room is a full bath with a tub shower.
Everything is brand new and clean, built specifically as a rental.
Kids welcome. Pack N' Play crib and high chair are available. Plenty of street parking, and a great variety of world class dining and entertainment nearby.
Outdoor area includes BBQ Access and fruit trees.
This neighborhood is one of the most coveted neighborhoods for locals, situated conveniently to the hubs of Hollywood, Los Feliz, Koreatown, Downtown, Chinatown, and Glendale. It is known as a creative center in the music, entertainment, animation, and architectural fields. It is also where pioneers of modern architecture built some of the first modern homes in North America in the 1920's.

We've lived in the area since 1996. We love the creative energy, music scene, and design world surrounding the neighborhood.
We chose this property because of the neighborhood, its views of Griffith Park and because of its proximity to the restaurants, schools and friends we love. We also appreciate the pedestrian and bicycle-friendly nature of the area.
We enjoyed our stay here. As a family of 3, we were very comfortable. We stayed here for the Rose Bowl and it was a great location for us. The owners were always available to communicate with any questions we had prior to and during our trip. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a short wonderful stay. Owner was friendly and the apartment fitted our needs.
The space is amazing just as the pics! I just was not aware that they have 2 small children that run around the whole day and was awaken on the dot at 6:00am by the running. They are lovely people, but...that is an issue when you are trying to sleep on a Saturday morning.
The first night the cat kept meowing at the door...I woke up next day to find a dead mice on the door mat...LOL
They should park their car on the street so that the guest can park in their parking spot...and I saw other guest commends about the space in bet. car and wall...Yes, if you have big luggages they are not going thru the tiny space.
After my second night I went to a hotel, I could not take it any more!!!!

Clean, modern and separate from owners with kitchen and laundry facilities.
One thing, It is difficult to get to the apartment, door in rear of house, when the owners car is parked in the driveway. Finding Parking in area can be a challenge.
This property was a cozy spot connected to the owner, Michael's home. It's located minutes from Silverlake Junction and Delta Taco, Tiki-Ti, Intelligentsia, and countless other great spots are blocks away. We didn't spend a terrible amount of time in the apartment besides sleeping and cooling down after long treks around the city, but it was a perfect recovery space. Well designed, the AC keeps the place chilled, and the full kitchen and washer/dryer should not be overlooked in importance. Also, the shower pressure was great! Not enough reviews mention shower pressure, but just remember that time you took a poor shower with wimpy pressure. Not here, dear reader!
Upon our arrival, Michael called us to make sure we got in alright. He left a binder of suggestions of places of note, but updated us with newer spots that had popped up. Once he found out we liked live music, he gave us tons of recommendations of places and shows to check out through the week we stayed there. Overall, great spot, great host. A++ would buy again.
We had an amazing experience staying at the Silverlake Sunset Juction Studio! The home is in a safe, walkable neighborhood, with gorgeous views of the the famous Hollywood sign and the surrounding hills. It's super convienient to downtown LA, Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, music venues, great restaurants, and basically all the greatness LA has to offer! The owner made sure our stay was comfortable and he was a wealth of knowledge offering a list of must-dos in the area (mostly local favorites, and a few touristy ideas). Next time we visit LA, we will definitely be staying at the Silverlake Sunset Junction Studio, and we would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
Sunset Junction is a part of Silver Lake known for Artists, Musicians, Designers and the creative crowd of Los Angeles. Boutiques and restaurants are 1 block away on Sunset Blvd, including Intelligentsia Coffee, Cafe Stella, Black Cat, Speranza, Blossom, Silverlake Farmers' Market and Millies Diner. There is also a comic book store, a record shop, French, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and Mexican restaurants.
Griffith Park is 10 minutes away featuring: Griffith Park Observatory, Children's Pony Rides, Train Rides, Travel Town, L.A. Zoo, Carousel, and the Griffith Park Pool (summer only). Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, Rudolph Schindler, Gregory Ain and many other modern architects designed homes in the local neighborhood. The best music venues in the city are within 1 mile: The Satellite, The Echo, The Silverlake Lounge, The Greek Theater.
The rental is a 25 minute walk from the Los Feliz restaurants and shopping and the Vermont/Sunset Metro Stop. Echo Park is a 10 minute drive, or a 15 minute bus ride along Sunset Blvd. The Bus stop for Santa Monica Pier, The Grove, and Century City, and the tourist district of Hollywood Blvd is near the rental. There are 4 supermarkets within 1 mile. The rental is 5 minute drive to Children's Hospital, and surrounding Kaiser Medical Complex.
