Thanks for considering staying at "Green Court"!

We want you to have an absolutely wonderful vacation experience, and related to this we would like to note two major points:1) Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that "NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes." I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it's just not allowed by law. Please abide by this rule so you don't get fined by the police, and so we don't loose our vacation rental permit.2) This is a NON-SMOKING house. Since there are large sliding doors throughout the house and seating areas just outside these doors, it's important for any smokers in your party to ensure that their smoke does not blow into the house. Any detection of smoke odor in the house is very serious and will result in the loss of your security deposit and an attempt to reclaim any additional costs related to the removal of the smoke odor.

Palm Springs Occupancy Tax Permit #3114.

About Joe

Greetings! I'm a Green Building Professional. My partner and I own many of the homes we've listed on here and have remodeled them ourselves as sustainably as possible. Recently we've gone 'pro' by starting Green Palm Springs Rentals LLC. As such, we've agreed to manage a couple of additional very special, green properties that we think you'll like as much as we do.

Our goal is to provide you the home base for an enchanting vacation, and we hope to have the honor of welcoming you to a fun, green vacation home soon!

Why Joe chose Palm Springs

Green Court in Palm Springs' famous Old Las Palmas neighborhood. You will love strolling the prestigious neighborhood of estate homes after a meal, walk or bike to shops and restaurants. It's a private self-contained sanctuary that is only five minutes from the exciting downtown and uptown cultural activities and nightlife.

What makes this house unique

This home has many sustainable/eco features including lots of warm LED lighting, eco/saline pool system, and environmentally sensitive soaps and cleaning supplies. You deserve a luxury getaway without toxic exposure and without all the guilt.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Stop searching. This is the one. The pictures of this castle are phenomenal, but walking through the front door is breathtaking . This house is decorated with art and furniture that is second to none. I visited with several other couples for coachella and our stay could not have been better. From a kitchen with everything you could imagine needing, to a serene and transcendent pool and jacuzzi. This place is 10 out of 10 in every category!! Thx Joe!!!!

A beautiful property but filled with electrical problems. We needed to call

  • 3 of 5

We needed to call property managers everyday with power outages, spa never worked and there is no ball machine! If you are paying all this extra for a tennis court, it might be important to you. Also hidden charges at the end even after having problems.

Owner's Response: Fortunately, I have never had to post a response to a mixed review before, but I do feel compelled to comment in this instance. If you plan to bring and concurrently use multiple hair curlers (as opposed the using the provided hair dryers which work fine), you might trip the breakers. Solution is to use the curlers at different times or in 2 of the bathrooms that are on different circuit (twice); we can tell you which after this unfortunate incident. FYI, the ball machine works fine if you follow the instructions to only use the provided orange pressure-less practice balls, as regular tennis balls can jam the machine. Unfortunately, this guest didn't report that they jammed the machine until the end of their stay, so we didn't have time to get it repaired for their enjoyment. We didn't even charge them to repair the ball machine or for the late evening electrician visits (2). We did, however, charge them for the missing Bose portable speaker that we bought and placed in the house just prior to their stay, so I wouldn't exactly call that "hidden". My mother taught me never to say anything negative about anybody for any reason. Sorry Mom.

Terrific family gathering for Holidays

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautiful, well situated and well cared for. Beds and pillows are comfy, and kitchen is well outfitted for cooking and entertaining. Managers went out of their way to make us comfortable and address any needs we had. They even got us a Christmas tree in advance of our visit so we would have a beautiful one to decorate (we arrived just before Christmas and were concerned there would be none left)! Besides the obvious perks of the tennis court and pool, the Arrive hotel down the street enabled us to grab a drink or meal out without driving whenever we wanted. Truly a great stay!

Miss it already!

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely house - finding one as spacious as this with a tennis court as well as a lovely salt water pool is not easy and this one did not disappoint! In fact the pictures don't do it justice as it looks even better in person. Another great point is the location as the local town was a 5 min drive. Us kids also loved the extra space in the guest condo as a place to watch tv and escape the parents! 😂

2 weeks was not enough - would recommend this place to anyone! 😀

Thanks joe!

This place is amazing!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for my husband's 40th birthday and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place. It's in a great area where we could walk to ice cream, drinks, or just look at some houses or the mountain. Liberace's house is a couple doors down. :) Very quiet neighborhood.

We stayed by the pool a lot, but there were spacious common areas inside too. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking large meals together and had a great supply of pots, pans, dishes, etc. There were plenty of pool towels and floaties to lounge around on. The tennis court is amazing and well stocked with rackets and balls.

The bed in the casita was so comfy and I liked to wake up and see the pool from our room. Everyone had a great time here. I highly recommend it.

Awesome house and property

  • 5 of 5

A group of old friends stayed here for long holiday weekend. Loved the house and hit some tennis every morning. Most of group were tennis players so everyone LOVED having private court. And a nice pool to jump into after a good workout.

The layout is great and open, 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and the added casita...which is really nice with a bathroom and view of pool area. The house had everything you'd need to cook and hangout...just bring food and drinks.

Also there is a really cool hotel called Arrive a short walk away that has a bar and restaurant that was fantastic. The "Build Your Own Bloody Mary" at brunch was phenomenal. Had lunch there too. We were four guys in our group so everyone had their own room but this house easily fits 8...great for four couples.

A couple of the guys were already talking about returning so hopefully we'll be booking the house again. Highly recommend. Joe and Cory were great and responsive for any questions.

I never rented house before and I'm sold on the whole concept with this nice experience.

Great vacation house

  • 5 of 5

we stayed in this house as two families: four kids under the ages of 8. There was definitely plenty of space for all of us. Having the casita was a great option, and though I found it a bit bright for me for sleeping, it was fine for my husband. The house was clean on arrival and we found adequate pots, pans, cooking stuff, including mixers. There is interesting art throughout the house.

We spent a lot of time in the living room/kitchen area watching TV, cooking eating, playing games etc.

We also spent a ton of time in the pool, and requested it be heated for a day, which was easily accommodated. The tennis court was a huge win, and we spent a lot of time playing tennis. The kids loved it and we got our game back on ;)

There was no neighborhood noise, parking was easy, and quick proximity to things we needed. We are likely to come back!
