Nice quiet little cottage right on the lake. Great watching the eagle, loons and otters! Great place for a get-a-way! Very nice spot and hope to come back again! Loved that you had the boat and electric motor to cruise around and fish if you wish.

Highly recommend!!!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute! The home was super cozy and very clean, and the view was unbelievable. We spent our days eating on the porch, fishing on the dock, relaxing on the boat, napping on the hammock, and viewing all types of wildlife. Thank you so much for such a great experience!

At our recent 2 week stay at the cabin we had a fabulous experience. Pre-stay amenities 5 star, owner & caretaker service 5 star, cabin supplies 5 star, recommend to others 5 star. Wildlife and fishing awesome. This is our 2nd year at the cabin and we look forward to coming back again next year. Lori & Dan New Gloucester, ME

Fantastic week on Puffer's Pond

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is just as described online and very comfortable. We were serenaded by the loons and saw breath taking views of the sunrises and sunsets. The eagles were active around the area and treated us to some up close views. The fishing was amazing! The pups enjoyed themselves as much as we did and we hope to return next year.

Peaceful Summer Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The property was a great location. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. The fishing was great. Between myself and 3 kids we caught over 40 Bass, 3 Perch, and 2 huge Crappie's. The highlight was my daughter catching a 22" 8 lb bass. We also enjoyed the wildlife on the lake which included Beavers, Loons, and a Bald Eagle.

The house "Fish Camp" was perfect. It had everything we needed. It was really nice to unpack, grab the fully charged battery and hit the lake with the boat and motor provided. The bedrooms were comfortable and the deck was great. Everyone also enjoyed their on time in the hammock. No one seemed to notice or need to watch TV. We went with 3 kids from 21 to 16 years old and not one even tried to turn the TV on.

We plan to make this a yearly event.

Rekaxing and peaceful stay on a quiet lake.

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at the cabin. Staying steps from the shore is definitely a bonus. Every morning you can grab your coffee stumble a couple steps outside and plop down into a chair and enjoy watching the tranquil water and listening to the loons. My son brought a friend (in addition to our dog) and they had so much fun jumping off the dock, hanging out in the hammock and going boating. Our dog had fun chasing them off the dock and jumping in after many thrown tennis balls. The loft was the perfect spot for my son and his friend to sleep as they treated it as a private clubhouse to "escape" the parental units. The other nice thing about the cabin is that it is close to the town of Dexter so the supermarket and other supplies are always nearby. There's also a well-appointed gym in town that accepts day visitors with just a call to the owner. If you venture further out to Bangor don't miss going to the transportation museum as it is first rate.
