This a second floor apartment, very secure and nearby everything you need.

Spacious second floor apartment is located in secure post-civil war building and is newly renovated. 900 sq. feet includes one bedroom with sitting area, king-sized bed with 600 thread count sheets, flat screen tv, separate living room/office area with queen size hide-a-bed couch, flat screen tv, dvd and wifi, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom. Original hardwood floors, wide moldings, original decorative fireplaces and lots of windows make for a place that feels light and bright and just like home. Central heating and air. Washer and dryer. Just out the front door there are restaurants, antique shops, and more!

About RON PERRY

Ron and I are Kentucky natives. We have a love for Paris specifically--both the history and the people. Ron has been a broker/realtor since the 70's and loves history, so the make-over on the post-civil war building apartment was a natural. We both love to travel---and as a professional artist, my work frequently takes us to places in the US, France and Italy. Being seasoned travelers , often staying for a month or more at a time, we really understand just how important the details are for a 'home away from home' place. We have put lots of love and care into this place and are so happy to be able to share it with you!!

Why RON PERRY chose Kentucky

This was a vision for both of us. We love Paris and wanted to be a part of the downtown renovation and rebirth that has been happening.

With streets named after famous horses and horseshoes buried in the sidewalks on Main (Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, move over!) it was irresistible when the old Fee grocery store came up for sale in 2013. Historic photos grace the interior and hallway of the apartment and the old Fee's Grocery sign that a was originally painted on the side of the building many years ago has been refurbished! We love being part of the downtown scene and contributing to the future of our beautiful area.

What makes this apartment unique

This apartment is ideal for a romantic get away or mixing pleasure with business in the heart of horse country. With easy access to Lexington, Ky (only 12 miles away down one of the most beautiful stretches of highway anywhere---passing through horse farm after horse farm) or the Kentucky Horse Park---it lets you live in the charm of the small city while affording easy access to big city shopping, performances at Rupp Arena, Keenland Race Track, the Red Mile and more. Of course with 54 working horse farms in Paris and Bourbon County, the heart of the Bluegrass is just outside your door!

Clean, well maintained, good location.

Comfortable apartment delivered as described and shown in photos. Centrally located in downtown Paris KY. Owner was helpful in providing directions and tips on what to do/eat in town. Easy in, easy out. However, the building where the apartment is located is adjacent to, and across from drinking establishments, which were lively the nights we stayed (Friday and Saturday). Light sleepers may not rest until late but there is a TV and seating area in the large bedroom or spend time in other spaces within the apartment. Also, I was charged a refundable $200 fee, which hasn't been returned yet or explained, so consider that your cash might be tied up for a while. Don't know if this is standard for all Home Away properties.

Owner's Response: Our property is downtown Paris and there is some night life in the downtown especially on weekends, the deposit is held by VRBO and is returned after 7 days. Glad you had a good time while you were here.

Perfect

My husband and I stayed for a week while attending an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was a perfect little spot for us and our dogs. The drive to the horse park is lovely. There is the Windy Corner Deli in-between the horse park and Paris that has wonderful comfort food.

The apartment is a nice size for two people. There is a washer/dryer down the hallway...needed for a week long stay. Thanks, Ron...we will be back.

We were very pleased with the accommodations at 705 Main Street. We visit Paris, KY each year and will certainly use this property again, if its available. It was a great location, very clean and well furnished.

The property is located in downtown Paris, I have noticed that some GPS directions takes you to Millersburg Ky. Do not go to Millersburg it is 10 miles or more out of the way. Make sure you go to downtown Paris, Ky. Call me for directions and lock box code to get into the VRBO. Parking on the main street is OK except for Thursday night and Sunday night after 12 midnight ( street cleaning) just park on the side street or parking lot across the street. Best, Ron 859-699-4908
