Close your eyes and imagine spending nights studying the moon and stars while roasting s'mores in front of a beach side fire pit. Think about relaxing with family and friends while playing horseshoes, ladder golf, or reading a good book. Dream of spending an afternoon hanging out in a deck chair on the beautiful pebble beach while watching sailboats race back and forth in the bay. Make plans to rent a boat to fish the trout-rich waters, or simply take a cruise around Wild horse Island. Think about jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, or just playing in the sun kissed water of the largest, natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Spend the day hiking, picking cherries or huckleberries, or antique hunting before dining in one of the fabulous restaurants around the lake. Done daydreaming? Make it a reality!
The location is a piece of paradise. The house has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of outside seating, new boat dock, fire pit for night enjoyment. Great shoreline for the little ones.
Our family consisted of 4 little ones-2,3,5,6- moms, dads, aunts, uncles, & grandma-11 total . Plenty of space for all!
Management was very receptive & responsive to any problems that arose.
We've already rescheduled for next year!
The cabin was everything we wanted. Completely stocked with everything we needed. The view was awesome from the deck, where plenty of chairs to set and absorb the beauty. Easy access to the lake, with a great dock. Everyone was so very nice and helpful. Recommend this cabin to everyone.
We had a family reunion vacation with 13 people! We all had an amazing time! The environment was relaxing and fun! Loved the easy access to the lake and the beautiful new dock!! We all enjoyed the large outside porch and open floor plan that allowed us all to be together! We also were in good distance to area attractions. We rented many water toys and were able to have them delivered and had easy access to the water! There was also a small public dock in easy distance for jet skis! We would definitely recommend this vacation rental!!
Our family consists of many ages. We had grandkids enjoy the lake from sun up until sundown . We enjoyed many hours playing cribbage on the deck and games on the beach. One of our family members even got up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. We had a wonderful time and decided to rent it again next summer. The property mangers were the best. Thanks! The "B" family
Our extended family including a 6 and 8 year old and two seniors loved this home on Flathead Lake. We would race out the back door to the lake for swimming, paddle boarding, floating and fishing. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire pit. Many times we just sat and watched the colors of the lake and sky change before us.
The home is comfortable. The large deck off the living room acted as our second living room where we ate, painted, played cards, and enjoyed the birds coming and going from the birdhouses.
It was hard to pull ourselves away from this wonderful lake setting but we did leave a few times, once a delicious dinner in Lakeside, a day at Glacier National Park and a day in Whitefish zip lining.
We would go back to this home in a second.
The property management was extremely easy to work with and gave excellent customer service.
Dayton is located at the midway point on the west shore of Flathead Lake. 20 miles south is Polson, a quaint little town with fabulous shops, restaurants, museums and spas on the southern end of Flathead Lake. Take in a live show at the Port Polson Players theater or a concert featuring local bands and musicians. Sample the latest micro brew at Glacier Brewing Company or simply stroll along the new boardwalk that connects Sacagawea and Riverside Parks along the Flathead River. Check out the Polson Chamber of Commerce website for festivals and special events that Polson hosts throughout the summer. To the north on the east shore is Big fork, another quaint community with great art galleries and boutiques, pubs, museums, and the renown Big fork Summer Playhouse. Kalispell and Whitefish are a short jaunt north as is Glacier National Park ensuring that you will not run out of things to do!
