Close your eyes and imagine spending nights studying the moon and stars while roasting s'mores in front of a beach side fire pit. Think about relaxing with family and friends while playing horseshoes, ladder golf, or reading a good book. Dream of spending an afternoon hanging out in a deck chair on the beautiful pebble beach while watching sailboats race back and forth in the bay. Make plans to rent a boat to fish the trout-rich waters, or simply take a cruise around Wild horse Island. Think about jet skiing, water skiing, kayaking, or just playing in the sun kissed water of the largest, natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Spend the day hiking, picking cherries or huckleberries, or antique hunting before dining in one of the fabulous restaurants around the lake. Done daydreaming? Make it a reality!
King and queen were comfortable but other beds need to be updated. There are no stairs inside to get to the lower level. Access to lower level is a spiral staircase off the deck or from the front door down the hill. The neighbors are very close. While we were there the neighbors power washed their entire property for 2 days all day long. The noise was very annoying. On the positive side, having 2 kitchens is a plus, the view from the deck is nice and it's a gentle slope to the lake.
My family and my son's in-laws enjoyed a week at Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams. The house was in excellent condition, there was plenty of room for everyone, and it was equipped with anything you might need in the kitchens and bathrooms. The fire pit was a daily gathering place and the view of the lake both from the deck and the beach was amazing, especially in the morning. It was nice to enjoy a newly constructed dock without worry of injury or ease to get to it. We boated around the area islands and enjoyed other families on the lake that were friends and relatives. The beach was clean. The access to the yard, beach, and dock was safe without the fear of falling. I would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys the lake, nearby attractions, or just wants a place to get away to.
We stayed at Moonbeams and Cabin Dreams for the first week of August 2016 with my daughter, her husband and her in-laws. The view from the deck was beautiful overlooking Flathead Lake and islands. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside on the deck. The appliances all worked and included a washer and dryer in the kitchen. The refrigerator was large. There were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc.. Our unit was clean and well maintained. A new dock had been installed. There were games in the yard. The yard sloped to the lake, but was manageable to my wife who uses a cane. We had plenty to do and never even turned on the TV. The house is shaded and was very comfortable with the temperature in the 80's. A nice breeze off of the lake kept us comfortable. We gathered every day at the fire pit. Our ages ranged from 12 to 76 and we all had a very wonderful time. We enjoyed paddle boarding, boat trips to Wild Horse Island and other homes on the lake. I would recommend "Moonbeams" to most anyone.
This was our second year at Moonbeams and Cabin dreams and we has an awesome time. The new dock was an extra plus for the cabin. This year we got to us the fire pit and we enjoyed all the amenities the cabin has to offer, and of course you could not ask for better neighbors. We have booked it for next year and hopefully it will be a annual family getaway for us. Thanks, The "B" Family
The location is a piece of paradise. The house has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of outside seating, new boat dock, fire pit for night enjoyment. Great shoreline for the little ones.
Our family consisted of 4 little ones-2,3,5,6- moms, dads, aunts, uncles, & grandma-11 total . Plenty of space for all!
Management was very receptive & responsive to any problems that arose.
We've already rescheduled for next year!
The cabin was everything we wanted. Completely stocked with everything we needed. The view was awesome from the deck, where plenty of chairs to set and absorb the beauty. Easy access to the lake, with a great dock. Everyone was so very nice and helpful. Recommend this cabin to everyone.
