About the property

3 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps up to 6, in Ashland's Railroad district.

The View is a large comfortable flat on the second floor of the 4th St Inn. The View has a living room with gas fire place and comfortable seating, a dining area and a large equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen bed. The second bath is central to each flat.

The large open deck has outdoor seating and a propane bbq.

Linens and towels are provided. The kitchens are equipped with dishes, utensils and basic cooking pots and pans.

There are 2 off-street parking stalls. Two grocery stores, Safeway and The Coop, are 3 blocks away and restaurants, coffee shops and downtown are within walking distance. Park your car and enjoy the wonders of town on foot.

Your bikes, if you bring them, can be locked under the stairs or on the deck.

No smoking of either tobacco or marijuana on the premises. No animals (many guests are allergic) on the premises.

For groups of more than 6 guests, consider renting the Garden flat on the ground floor (VRBO#1042624) as well. The View and the Garden together will accommodate up to 12 guests.

My husband and I have lived in Ashland since 1995. Our children grew up hear and we have run our vacation rentals for over 20 years. Prior to Ashland, we spent 20 years in Hawaii.

A cold, wet place

Perfect, clean, comfortable

The apartment is very comfortable. We loved the outdoor space on the deck. The owners provided everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The location was very convenient to the theater complex as well as to restaurants and shopping. We hope to come back next year.

A well appointed and convenient place to stay

Overall, the location and amenities are great! We had 5 of us staying in the upstairs flat and there was plenty of room for all of us. We were walking distance to downtown Ashland and the walk was down pretty, residential streets...even with 2 kids, the walk was very doable! There are many wonderful restaurants, shops and theater in Ashland.

The only downside of the flat was that it was a little warm. We never felt really cool even at night. I wish the AC was a little cooler or that there were ceiling or floor fans for each room to help offset the heat. We were there, however, during a very hot time of year. I am sure during the the spring and fall it wouldn't be an issue. That being said, we would definitely stay there again!

Cancelations- No refunds for cancelations within 90 days of the first day of the reservation.
Reservations of 2 - 5 days, deposit is refundable if canceled at least 90 days prior to the first day of your reservation.
Deposit for reservations of 6+ days is non-refundable.
$50 per 1/2 hour charge for late check outs that delay cleaning crew.
