Centrally located on east coast of Kauai, commonly known as the Royal Coconut Coast. If you have found this property you have found a Jewel. No other coastline provides you with central access to both north and south shores; no other coastline provides you the famous kauai coastal bike path to deserted white sand beaches. Kapa'a Sands is one of the most sought after destination points due to its island access and uniqueness. No Parking fees, no wifi fees, no resort fees, and no amenity fees. This is a small boutique property that is preserved in the 'old Hawaiian charm' and is the closest property to waters edge.

About Dennis & Christine Vogel
My wife Christine and I came to Kauai and immediately fell in love with this place. We are so excited to have been given the opportunity to own and share it as a vacation rental with you!
Dennis & Christine Vogel purchased this Studio in 2014
Why Dennis & Christine Vogel chose Wailua
After touring the island and then walking and biking along the coconut coast, It became very apparent to us that this location offered a unique opportunity to experience 'old Hawaii' the way it used to be. Other places are quite nice but none have the 'end of the road' feeling of peaceful seclusion and being lost in paradise.
What makes this Studio unique
Built on the historical site of an old Shinto temple where mountains, gardens, rivers and ocean meet have made this the best location on island.

Little piece of paradise!
Our stay was amazing! The place is perfect in every way. Not only were the owners easy to work with but the management/cleaning personnel treated us like royalty. Such a wonderful experience! We will be back soon! : )
Thank you so much and so glad to hear the cleaning personnel treated like royalty. I will be sure to pass that on to them. Hope you can come back soon.
Right on the beach, sleep to the sound of the waves.
The location is great as you can easily explore both ends of the Kauai from here. You are staying metres away from a beach that is great for adults and kids, It has a rock pool for swimming and is a popular fishing spot. The apartment is nicely appointed: the bed is comfy, kitchen is great. The bathroom is tiny but it works. Only problems were we couldn't get the TV to work (and TV is quite small) and we would've appreciated some washing powder for the laundry,
We absolutely loved our stay. Charming and peaceful with great proximity.
The place is well cared for with all the necessities for and island vacation. We will be sure to recommend and can’t wait to get back...
Thank you for being thoughtful and attentive host.
Everything as advertised.
First trip to Hawaii. Not staying anywhere but here and be back soon. Explored the whole island. Best spot is Kapaa Sands. Too much to pack into one trip. Much more to explore. Rode horses in volcanic caldera up at Silver Falls and swam in the falls. Rode horses at CJM on cliffs and beaches. Luau Kalamaku is the best, Captain Andy's catamaran sunset cruise with the dolphins. Snorkeled everywhere. Loved it and even spent hours snorkeling the protected lava ledge pool just outside our door. Snokeflake moray eels and a dozen different species of fish in a "nursery." Saw sea turtles in the cove here from balcony but couldn't find them when in the water. Saw Monk seals on two different beaches. Thank you for sharing this spot. Felt truly blessed by God.
We had a wonderful stay here! The unit is very clean, quiet, and decorated very cute! Having the beach right out the back is so wonderful too, hearing it at night, or a quick morning stroll on the beach is just perfect! Close to the airport and tons of great restaurants, shops, and beaches!
Compact but plenty comfortable with a great view and a delightful lanai. Central location made it easy to explore the island, although many shops and some decent restaurants were within easy walking distance. If you've never been to Kauai before, get yourself a copy of The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook by Andrew Doughty. It's the best.
This is an amazing location in which you are walking distance to just about anything and everything you need. There is a reason they call this the royal coconut coast!!!
