This large oceanside home (Sleeps 10-12 comfortably) is conveniently located in the North end of the town of Fenwick Island right off James Street. Fenwick Island is known for their beautiful wide and clean beaches that are never overcrowded. This large home (3500 sq. ft plus) is great for families with playrooms stocked with games and toys, several living room areas and decks to take in the afternoon sun and sunsets across the bay. The back yard has a swingset and is fenced in for your young children to play. Exit the back gate and simply walk 200 feet down an easement to James Street and then you are approximately 500 feet from the direct dune access to the beach.

Shopping and restaurants all within walking distance.

We are the original owner of this home. Until last summer, this was our full time, year round home and we have consistently upgraded and maintained the home.

Mark is a native of Fenwick Island, Delaware and married Chrisy in 2007. Their two children loved growing up in Fenwick Island. The Tingle family still live and work locally in the area. Chrisy is a licensed realtor in Delaware.

Wonderful home for children

We were a family of 8 adults and 6 children ages 7 months to 4 years old. We very much appreciated the well stocked playrooms, the fact that there were 2 refrigerators, the wonderful view of sunsets, the large dining room table and smaller table for children and the layout of the house. We would definitely stay here again

Lovely house!

We had a great time at a Tingle’s Time-out. It’s a lovely house with easy access to the beach. Great communication with the owners. Our stay was during the beach replenishment and it was no big deal. Mark called to give us a heads up that we would have to use a beach entry a block up the first day. Honestly, even with kids, a short Fenwick block or two is no problem. The beach wagon was a great bonus. 4/5 only due to some cleanliness issue spots, but at this point if the season, with just a few hours between renters, I get that it’s not going to be spotless. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great family home!

This location is perfect for a getaway with the family. One block to the beach, stores, restaurants. The layout of the house is awesome for multiple families. The upstairs living room is very spacious and we never felt over crowded. Overall, a great vacation rental! Thanks for having us!!!

Good vacation home. Property needs some TLC

The house layout is great for large families. It's location is very convenient to the beach. The beach was beautiful with clear water, soft sand and no drop off in the surf. Great for the littles (6 yr old and an18 month old) in our group. The beach was never crowded during our trip (space between beach goers could be measured in yards) Which amazed us as we are used to being umbrella tip to umbrella tip in Rehoboth. Overall the property served our needs very well. Like other reviewers expressed it is in great need of proper cleaning and general maintainence. It was a disappointment to have had to contact the owner and interrupt both of our schedules for such things that would or should have been done as a part of the standard prep of a house in this price range. While the owner was responsive to our call in that she arrived at the property to fully assess an issue with the deck furniture it was clear that no one had inspected the property to ensure it was ready for our rental. The owner requested we provide full details and pictures of the issues we encountered throughout the property so that they could initiate corrective measures with their cleaning service. We did and feel that she will do as stated. Should the owner be successful in ensuring the property receives the care it deserves in cleaning and mainentainence it will certainly command a five star rating for its price range from future renters.

Great location good floor plan not as clean as it should have been

The location of the house, very close walking distance to the beach and the space and layout of the house was good for us. However the house needs a really good deep cleaning. Under the beds, tv, couches etc was very dusty. The bathroom floors were sandy as if they were never cleaned. My reason for letting you know this I don't want you to think we left the house like this.
