Unique, no better location for a variety of fishing access and opportunities. Secluded and private, so peaceful. Have an afternoon cocktail on the deck as the sun sets, no better place to be!

This property was everything we dreamed of and more. I came to Roscoe for a girls weekend retreat (13 women total). The rooms were very generous with space and we loved the rustic decor. The back porch and fire pit were perfect for hosting our party. The lake was a little bit of a hike, but it was well worth the walk. There was plenty to do around the area. My group focused on Catskill and Trout Town Breweries and Prohibition Distillery (All fantastic). We ate dinner out one night at the Arnold house (another amazing meal with beautiful views). John was extremely helpful and personable. Great experience all around. I look forward to going back!
We've vacationed in the Catskills numerous times and this was by far the best property
The house was immaculate with everything you could want in a vacation home, from the
beautiful furnishings to the breathtaking views. I might add the kitchen is far nicer than the pictures, very spacious with every utensil possible. We had a group of adults and 3
children who enjoyed boating on the lake while the guys fly fished the nearby Delaware.
The ladies enjoyed sightseeing, soaking up the sun on the deck, afternoon cocktails and gathering around the fire pit each night, couldn't ask for more.
Thanks John, we will look no further for the perfect house, we're already talking about next trip.
This was our second trip up to John's cabin in Roscoe and it only further cemented that it won't be our last! The cabin has everything to make a really special trip for a big group, from a fully stocked kitchen down to the coziest flannel sheets. There was snow on the ground and we were able to sled in the front yard and hike out in the woods. Perfectly picturesque! John is great, too, and makes sure you have everything you need!
This property is a beautifully built log home with a fabulous deck on which I wish I could have spent more time--unfortunately, we visited in November, after the peak foliage that would have surrounded us three weeks earlier. The house is large and well-maintained, clean and well-equipped, tasteful and comfortable. Prior to our arrival, John had laid in an enormous stock of firewood for the charming wood stove in the living room. Both before and during our stay, John was friendly and responsive to all requests for information, directions, etc. Really, a wonderful experience.
A group of my graduate school friends and I (11 of us total) stayed in this beautiful cabin for a friend's wedding. We had a fantastic experience! The house was immaculate– the cleanest rental I've ever seen. They take fantastic care of the property, and there is plenty of space in the big kitchen and living room for everyone to gather & relax.
The indoor fire was such a nice addition for a chilly weekend. John even stopped by to see if we needed help getting it started! He was very communicative and organized during the rental process, which made everything easy and quick. Thank you for the lovely weekend getaway!
