Relax and settle into this roomy & comfortable 2 BR/1 Bath house located one block from the famous and active Wilton Drive in the heart of Wilton Manors, the 'Island City' surrounded by water in the center of Fort Lauderdale. The house is well-appointed with all the amenities you need to make your stay a first-class experience. It is nestled among heavy tropical landscaping and includes a private fenced-in backyard with outdoor patio and gas grill. It also features a comfortable covered front porch where you can sit, relax and watch the sunset with the soothing sounds of cascading water from a fountain and wind chimes. Inside features a fully equipped kitchen with an island with stools, dining table area and an open floor plan looking into the living room area with a large sectional sofa and chaise lounge chair.
The house is bright and airy with large picture windows in every room. There is a large 50' screen HD LED TV in the main living area and wireless internet that can be accessed inside and outside. There is also a BluRay CD/DVD Disc player including hook-ups available to connect your computer to utilize Netflix or any other movie or game applications to which you subscribe. Each bedroom features its own HD TV. Bedroom #1 has a king size bed while Bedroom #2 has two twin beds that can be joined to create a king size bed should you prefer. All beds include designer pillow-topped mattresses with fresh, clean high thread count linens. The beds and pillows are also allergy and bed bug/dust mite-proofed. Both bedrooms feature blackout blinds and window curtains perfect for an afternoon nap or sleeping-in late in the morning. The home has a covered parking port as well as room for an additional two vehicles. Small pet(s) are welcome and because the backyard is fenced, your pet(s) can enjoy being outdoors unleashed.
This home is designed with your comfort in mind. Wake up and use the kitchen for a casual, lazy morning with coffee/tea while you prepare yourselves a home-cooked breakfast. Then, you may decide to head out by foot to 'hit the Drive' and enjoy the cafes, clubs, bars, and quaint & unique shops during the day and/or evening or decide to hit the beach (approximately one mile away) and spend your day lounging by the Atlantic Ocean listening and swimming to waves crashing along the world famous & gorgeous Ft. Lauderdale beach. Once you've had enough, you can come back to the house to take a nap. You may decide to stay-in for an evening of barbeque dinner out on the private backyard patio, or cozy-up on the sofa under the comfort of a throw and watch a movie, read and/or head out to enjoy Wilton Manors' active nightlife.
This home is located so close to everything you need;there is really no need for a car. There is a full-size grocery store (Publix), CVS drug store, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, variety of restaurants, frozen yogurt and ice cream shops and a variety of other establishments to easily purchase anything you need & keep you entertained all in short walking distance.
No need to pack heavy as the home includes a laundry room with a washer and dryer located just off the kitchen area. If you need beach chairs and umbrellas, they can be made available to you as well.

The house has been newly renovated, fully stocked, and ready for you to feel at home. It features an open floor plan that provides a cozy, yet roomy, airy and comfortable environment where you can enjoy every guests company but at the same time find privacy when desired.
You are in the heart of Wilton Manors and walking distance to everything. The home's landscaping and heavy foliage provides a true tropical setting and includes a private fenced-in backyard.
Excellent home, exceptionally clean and well furnished. Not simply are the beds comfortable, the kitchen is way past average in being nicely equipped, right down to the plastic containers for left overs to the laundry machines just two steps through a door from the kitchen. Steve made our stay as easy as possible, and went beyond what a landlord should do to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended.
You know how a good rental is the result of many factors...most small, some important. Everything was excellent...location, neighborhood, parking, security, beds, shower, kitchen, tv/cable, etc., etc. Everything worked; this was a terrific place to stay. Well-appointed, fully equipped, a good owner you work with directly.
We spent a week this Jan at this house and it was fabulous. Nothing has been unattended - - - the yard is landscaped incredibly, the artwork inside and out is stunning, the kitchen has been completely renovated, the bedrooms are perfect. The location is great: 1 block from Wilton Drive, two hundred yards to a wonderful restaurant, and a number of bars. The backyard is awesome - - - perfect for morning coffee. If you want convenience to the Wilton, Coral Ridge area, this is great.
My family of four stayed here for a week during the New Years holiday as a place to be close to my Dad's home. It was newly renovated, warm, welcoming and very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and having the private backyard was a great place to let our two boys (3 and 6) run around on their own without worry.
The A/C and other systems worked without issue and we were able to host a few family dinners with ease. The house is situated within a few blocks of Starbucks, Publix, CVS and Wells Fargo. We took the family on walks to run simple errands and found the neighborhood delightful.
The bedrooms were perfect for our needs and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The cable system and WIFI worked without a hitch. While small--the home, with it's attached laundry room, was perfect for our needs.
We met the owner, Steve, when he came by to help us troubleshoot the coffee maker (user error!). He was warm and funny and a definite reflection of his desire to offer quality hospitality.
We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in town.
Amazing! Cute, comfortable, and convinent! This house is in the perfect location; very close to grocery stores, the beach, and the night life. Comfortably fits 4 to 5 people (the beds are SO comfortable). The backyard was our favorite spot. It's fenced in so it would perfect for small dogs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will be back soon!
This house is delightful, immaculate, close to happening attractions, well worth it, exceeded our expectations, great for singles or couples, home environment with every ammenity u could imagine, a thousand thumbs up
