About Roni

My husband is a native cracker here in Port Salerno, lived here all his life and I am from Columbus, Ohio and am a true Buckeye fan.

Roni purchased this apartment in 1976

Why Roni chose Florida Central Atlantic Coast

This area is a nice quiet and safe area and we live beside the units on a separate lot, the neighborhood has a relaxing old Florida feel. I have lived here my entire life and remember what Stuart was like many, many years ago. Stuart has all the amenities of a big city but the relaxed feel of a small town. The best thing is Stuart has a 4 story ordinance for condos, we have no high rise condos which keep the traffic down and room for the preserve areas and public parks.

What makes this apartment unique

The Banyan spans the entire length of our home and our grandchildren used to climb up inside the tree and make forts in it. Port Salerno used to be a port of call back in the day and today it is called The Sailfish Capital of the World. Stuart was voted most beautiful city in 2008.

This was the best choice I could have made for a place to stay in the area we wanted to fish and relax at! Plenty of fishing opportunities close by, and many beach areas to visit within a short drive. Cool places to get a drink..a meal..and live entertainment within short walking distance! Very pleasant folks in the area..everyone was kind and helpful! Ronnie and Rick were phenomenal hosts, answering our questions..pointing us in the right direction for places to go, things to see, stuff to do. Their units are impeccably clean, well equipped, and like brand new! We could not have asked for more..it was perfect! We look forward to renting again next year from them, and my only complaint is that they didn't kidnap me so that I didn't have to go back to the crappy Michigan weather..LOL

Great place for snowbirds

  • 5 of 5

We have been enjoying the middle unit for severall days now and are very pleased. The apartment is fresh, clean and tastefully decorated. All the furnishings look brand new. Fresh flowers were even on the table. The photos are accurate depictions of the property. We have enjoyed the community of nearby Stuart and are making use of the Y and Golds Gym. The beach area is about a 15 minute drive and there is lots public beach access. This is our first time trying out the Snowbird life and we already know it is going to be difficult to leave this little cottage and the lifestyle here. We have been eating in quite a bit and the kitchen is very complete for doing that. As time goes on, we will try out some of the local restaurants. This is a fishing area so there are many restaurants featuring seafood. There are beautiful boats and docks right at the end of the street. You can't go wrong if you decide to choose this unit for a long or short stay.

So glad we rented this!

  • 4 of 5

We were very pleased with the property. The description and pictures were accurate to the property, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The owners clearly considered needs of those visiting and included a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, nice linens and little touches that made it seem like home. They were very helpful and responsive to us while we were there. We will certainly consider staying there again, and referring others as well.

The waterfront restaurants are beautiful in Stuart, must go to The Pelican Cafe in Historic downtown Stuart and walk on the boardwalk and take in the small shops and public park. They Lyric theater has live concerts and entertainment. You must go on a sunset sail on The Lily, located on the Pier in downstown Stuart, tks are around $35 for a 2 hr. sail, you can bring snacks and wine aboard and just relax on the quiet sail. We loved it!
