We met at Gemology school in San Diego, CA and found that we not only fell in love but shared the same passions for life. We chose to be jewelers by trade but we are designers by passion. We settled down in the Santa Barbara area and began to raise our two boys Ozzy and Cash. Being on an eternal search for the perfect place to live we just had not found it yet. Eric, born and raised in Mississippi and I in Idaho, Eric often spoke of this magical town in Tennessee called Leiper's Fork that he had visited as a teenager. We finally came for vacation July 4th, 2014 and I promptly fell head over heals in love! We were sitting out front of Puckett's drinking Ne-Hi soda watching our boys faces light up with joy as they chased the fireflies. Leiper's Fork chose us in that moment. Without delay we purchased our home on Joseph, now the Tin Roof Cottage, returned to Santa Barbara and moved here 20 days later. We never looked back, we now reside just 1 mile away from the Cottage. We are currently raising our boys in this marvelous community and we welcome you with open hearts. Warmly, Eric, Samantha, Ozzy and Cash
Samantha purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Samantha chose Leipers Fork
This home chose us, it provided us with a wonderful opportunity to raise our family in this great community. It was a stepping stone to what was to come, we had no idea that we would fall so in love with this town and the people that call it home. This was our first home in TN as a family and therefore this house is very special to us. We now own three vacation rentals on this street, as it has stolen our hearts and we know it will take a piece of yours too.
What makes this Cottage unique
Tin Roof Cottage provides you with a unique opportunity to become immersed in a Norman Rockwell painting that has come to life. You will love getting lost in this great community but still have easy access to the city of Nashville and downtown Franklin.

Very cute property. Great decorations and funishings. Contact left good instructions on how to handle everything and made checkin and checkout very easy. Close location of about 15 minutes to Franklin where there are good restaurant choices.
This was the perfect spot for our girls weekend! The owners were so sweet to check in on us and supply everything we need. Come check this artistic cottage out and you will not be disappointed
Fun and happy decor!
We loved how close it was to shopping and all of the nice attention to details at the house! Highly recommend!
Tin Roof Cottage Provides Quality Family Time
The Tin Roof Cottage is full of charm, function, is clean and provided us some great quality family time. The cottage is decorated with fun touches of uniqueness but full of all the necessities. We enjoyed the fire pit, bike riding on the provided bikes, cooking breakfast in the retro kitchen and it fit all five of us perfectly. I look forward to booking this property again in the future. In addition, the location is a short distance from Franklin, TN and in the heart of Leiper's fork.
Exceptional, Totally Awsome !!
My daughters are I have been going to Leipers Fork for the past five years. Last year we stayed at Coda Cottage and this year at Tin
Roof Cottage (both Pot n Kettle properties). We all agree they have been the BEST! We have been to California, Colorado, Michigan and have not stayed anywhere as nice as Tin Roof Cottage! The Cottage is so quaint, comfy, cozy and so inviting! There is not one thing you could want for. Samantha has certainly made it "your home away from home" . Her promptness in answering any questions you may have will amaze you. The town of Leipers sits in the middle of rolling hills with quaint shops, the friendliest people, Country Boy Restaurant and of course Puckett's Grocery. Absolute must to see! "Down the road a piece" is Leipers Fork Distillery which is only year old. Great place to see. Spent fun evening there on their year anniversary. Nashville only 40 min. away if you want big city, and of course Franklin for shopping. Only 10 minutes away. Just a totally memorable place to visit.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to write such an unbelievably kind review. I am so thrilled that you have gotten to experience two of my properties and you love our town. It was such a pleasure having you and I look forward to having you back in the future.
The quaint Tin Roof Cottage was perfect for our family group who were in Leiper's Fork for a wedding. It is close to the center of town if you want to walk to Pucket's' or shop in the galleries there. The yard was huge so the small kids had plenty of room to roam. We needed to do a good bit of cooking for the wedding bunch, and the kitchen was perfect for that...lots of kitchen equipment available! The beds were comfortable, the dining table was large and the living room area was fine for our group. My only suggestion would be very minor...we wished there had been soap for the showers and some Kleenex for the folks with seasonal allergies.
We would definitely stay in the Tin Roof Cottage again.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of your stay. It was a pleasure having you as my guests. I apologize about the soap and kleenex, I wish I had known as I do regularly stock these items and could have shown you where the extras are. I do hope to welcome you back again for another visit.
If you're looking for something unique, you've come to the right place. From 200-year-old antiques to fine art to one-of-a-kind people, Leiper's Fork is a rare find for visitors and locals alike. This is a magical place that once visited you may not want to ever leave. Take a stroll through the village and you will marvel and the fantastic shops that are at your doorstep. Puckett's offers live music almost every night, don't forget that scoop of ice-cream on the hot summer day. The Natches trace is just a few miles down the road, calling for a lazy drive.
