We chose this property because we lived in Kingman, AZ and traveled many times to Williams, AZ to go fishing, browse through the antique shops, eat at the excellent restaurants and we just fell in love with the area.
This home is so unique because of the beautiful Knotty Pine walls throughout and the peacefulness we feel being surrounded by the trees and nature. It is a great escape from everyday life.
We had a wonderful time...our girls did not want to leave...you truly thought of everything!
We had a great time vacationing to Williams/Grand Canyon. The house was very clean and well organized with supplies. We enjoyed the grill and not being cramped in a hotel room. We did not see wildlife from the house, but on the roads driving into Williams we saw boars, elk and deer! Would definitely like to return for another stay.
The cottage is immaculately kept and cleaner than any hotel room you'll find. April, the manager, left a personal note for us with tips on local events and the owners even called to check on us. If you have any questions, April will text or call you back within seconds. If there is an issue, they will handle immediately. We stayed here and did day trips to the Grand Canyon, Williams, Slide Rock, Montezuma, Tuzigoot, Bearizona, Sedona, etc and the family couldn't have been more pleased with the location. Highly recommend.
We made Williams as our base camp and visited the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Lake Havasu. The house was perfectly situated and very convenient for us to come and go easily. The owners put a personal touch on our stay and we truly felt at home on the house. The house was well equipped and everything was just as explained. If we go back to Arizona, we will definitely stay here again!
This cute little cottage worked perfect to visit the Grand Canyon a couple of days but still have somewhere to go have peace and quiet. Williams was an easy drive for groceries and shopping. The cottage had all the spices and coffee was provided. They do allow pets, but you would never know because it smelled fresh and was very clean and felt newly remodeled. I would recommend it to friends. We booked this last minute. I can't believe it was still available.
It was less than an hour drive to the Canyon.
It's located on a red gravel road. There are a few ranches on the road nearby, so it didn't feel like we were the only ones "out there" ....but it still felt safe secluded and peaceful. Don't hesitate on this rental. It won't disappoint.
We had a wonderful time. We used the home as our base to attend my son's NAU graduation. After the graduation, there was a long line of traffic waiting to get on I-17. We were fortunate enough to avoid all the chaos as our GPS took us on a back road to I-40 west and the house was an easy drive. The home was clean and well cared for. The location is very rural but there are a few houses nearby so we didn't feel unsafe. Being so rural, I thought that perhaps we would encounter wild life but we saw none. We were excited to see a fire pit and hoped to use it but the weather kicked up suddenly and we were concerned about the wind. We decided to leave the fire for another time. The beds were very comfortable. When we arrived we were a bit concerned with the amount of heat that accumulated in the upstairs bedrooms. There are no AC vents upstairs but Mother Nature took care to cool off the bedrooms as soon as the windows were opened and the fans that are provided were put into use. No complaints from the upstairs. The owners were easy to work with and I would definitely stay again.
This vacation home was perfect for Sandy and me and our two small dogs. Its location is just the right distance from town to ensure outstanding peace and quiet, and close enough to Williams for all the convenience there. Although it looks small, every room is a genourous size, and the entire house is well designed and decorated. The back yard fenced area was perfect for our fur babies. Even though they are small, the fence offered no gaps for escape. The kitchen is well supplied. A nice luxury is the Keuirig coffee maker, and it was extremely thoughtful of the manager to be sure all necessary supplies were in the cabin. Including bottled water. I took a hummingbird feeder with me, and the hummers started appearing minutes after I hung it out. You will love the vacation.
Bearizona is a must see, fun for the whole family. Grand Canyon is just 50 min away as well as the Grand Canyon Railway only 10 min away in downtown Williams.
