Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

Staying here was just like being at home. It was so comfortable and cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the house was quiet which is important when you are traveling. Susan was a great host. She explained everything thoroughly. Would love to stay here on our next visit to Boston.

Great stay and wonderful place

  • 5 of 5

We had plane delays to get there and Susan was awesome in adjusting her schedule to be able to meet us there. She gave us a personal tour and made sure that we knew where things were. The place was very nice, clean and cool. Our entire stay at the end of July/start of August the temperature in the house was very comfortable. We did not lack amenities while staying as they had provided nicely. Susan was a wonderful host! Beds were very comfortable and we had a wonderful time!

Recommended suburban apartment close to Boston

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our week-long stay in this apartment. Susan gave a very warm welcome and was generous with information and tips about visiting Boston, Cambridge, and Brookline, and with information about Newton neighborhood restaurants and services within easy walking distance of the apartment.

The apartment was exactly as described. It was very nice, attractive, spacious, clean, and comfortable, and included parking (a big deal in the Boston area).

Access to Boston areas was easy, direct, and quick via express bus or car. Express buses to Copley Square in Back Bay and to Downtown Boston ran frequently all day and were just steps away from the apartment front door. Recommended car parking at the Cambridge Municipal Green Street Parking Garage in Central Square, Cambridge, was easy to get to, economical, and steps away from the subway. This attended garage is open 24/7 and charges a flat $2.00 per hour, compared to the $20.00 or much more for a couple of hours at the typical Boston area parking garage. On-street parking is limited and difficult to find.

The Boston area transportation system ("the T") is excellent, and sells various short and longer term bus and subway pass options in the subway stations. Also, the Boston/Cambridge/Brookline area is compact, beautiful, and interesting - a premier area for walking about.

For comfort and ease of getting around, we would definitely stay here during our next Boston trips.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable, great location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything. The owner made sure that everything was just the way it should be, and she was nice to work with. The beds were soft, the air conditioning a blessing. We wound up sleeping in late and getting a leisurely start to the days because we were so comfy. Loved having a full kitchen so we didn't have to eat out much, and having a separate bedroom for each child. We also loved walking around the neighborhood, going to the Boston public library, the museum of fine arts, the Lego museum, Public Gardens, Swan boats, etc. etc. Looking forward to coming back!
