Perfect Location on the Water in a Gated Community

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 (including 3 teens) loved this condo! It was literally right on the water! We ate many meals on the back deck to enjoy the incredible views of the ocean and to hear the waves! The 3 bedrooms were very roomy and well appointed, with 2 out of 3 bedrooms having views of the ocean. The condo had everything we needed and met all of our needs. The beach was a quick walk, and the two pools were lovely and nearly always empty. We were able to walk to the Poop Deck and Blue Sail Restaurants. Both were good. We explored other beaches including Cable Beach (very touristy), Goodman's Bay, Nirvana/Love Beach and Flipper and Jaws Beaches at the Clifton Heritage National Park. The snorkeling was very good at Flipper and Jaws. My kids liked Nirvana and Jaws Beaches best. I understand that usually you can snorkel right from the condo, but the week we were there it was quite windy and rough. We went out once, but didn't see much. We spent one day on Blue Lagoon Island doing a dolphin encounter and hanging out on the beach all day. It was a great experience. We also did the quick hike at Queen's Stairway. The owner, Robert, was very helpful and informative, and the property manager, Barbara, was terrific. She picked us up from the airport, rented us a mini van for the week (for half the cost of Avis), and took us back to the airport. It was a wonderful vacation and a perfect condo.

Quiet and relaxing setting with gorgeous ocean views.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 adults stayed at Robert's townhouse and enjoyed the accommodations and complex VERY MUCH. We appreciated the 2 pools, the ocean view from the patio, and the beach within steps of the east side pool. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing days... felt like we had the place to ourselves much of the time. The photos don't do justice to how nice the pools/beach/views really are. I was pleasantly surprised. I would easily choose to come back to this place!

Great Location!

  • 4 of 5

We loved the condo & location. We had ladder access off the dock to the ocean & could snorkel right there. We saw fish, eel & found some beautiful conch shells & sand dollars. The condo itself could use some updating. The master door would not latch & close completely. The beach towels were torn & faded. The toaster needs to be replaced. Also having some hand soap, shampoo, bar soap & Kleenex would have been nice. It's in a gated community so we always felt safe & rode the jitney bus right outside the gate for $1.25 a person. We highly recommend The Twisted Lime, The Bearded Clam, Sharkees & Marcos Pizza for eating!

Captivating Ocean Views

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert's townhouse. The ocean view is breathtaking! Barbara, the onsite manager was very helpful with everything we needed to make our stay trouble free. We spent a lot of our time just hanging out on the patio listening to the waves and breathing in the ocean air. Delaporte has 2 pools to relax by and the buses run regularly if you want to venture out to see more sites.

Relaxing in Nassau

  • 5 of 5

Our trip to Nassau was quite enjoyable staying in this location. The condo is centrally located near cable beach with many restaurants and grocery shopping within walking distance. Transportation is available via taxi or local bus. The condo is well furnished with comfortable furniture and cable TV. Barabara the onsite manager was very helpful throughout our stay. While we were there nights were very quiet and relaxing. My experience was very positive beginning with booking through checkout. Thank you hope to stay here again.
