This apartment is beautiful and luxurious. I especially loved the doors to the bedrooms- historic and so French!
I stayed with my family for 5 nights. We all had room and space. We even stayed in and cooked one night.
Simply perfect apartment. The landlord is wonderful and made excellent restaurant recommendations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was room for our large family. The flat is furnished just as the photos depict. It was very clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat. Blocks from Les Halles, The Pompidou, metro stop, and an abundance of cafes, little markets and shopping of every sort. Large windows in the living room open onto the pedestrian-only street below. There is an elevator which was welcome after a day walking the city. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the creaky floors.
How lucky we were to find this place. Made the Paris visit so nice. Would do it all over again. We were 3 adults and 3 children. Ideal.
Location within walking distance to Notre Dame. Great location and the property representatives/owners were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I and the family loved our stay in Paris.
The apartment is located very conveniently to many attractions ---les Halles, museums, parks and shops. It is a lively area with pedestrian only streets filled with bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment was very clean and stocked with a few essentials---trash bags, toilet paper and tea. The 4 bedrooms accommodate a large family and the modern kitchen with large refrigerator make it easy to have meals there. The large dining table is placed awkwardly in the middle of the main hall, but it did allow 10 people around it. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings very tasteful. The large windows filled the apt. with light and air. The master bath is great--very large by European standards. The other two are quite small . Lots of storage space in bedrooms. The furniture in the living area was not very comfortable, but serviceable. Manager was very attentive to our complaint of jackhammers in the apt. below.
This apartment is truly fantastic. As someone who studied abroad in Paris and has spent considerable time visiting homes throughout the city, I will say it is very spacious by Parisian standards and even by American standards (particularly if you’re used to living in a densely populated city like New York or DC). It is just steps away from the Pompidou Center and an easy walk to Saint-Chapelle, Notre Dame, the Louvre and Musee D’Orsay. Some of our best days began with breakfast in the apartment (typically croissants from one of the nearby boulangeries) then a quick walk up to the Seine and onward from there. The neighborhood is bustling, young and diverse—definitely a different dynamic from, say, the 7th or 16th arrondissements, which are either stuffier or more refined, depending on how you look at it. It's fairly touristy, but that’s the price you pay for being an easy walk to so many of the city’s main attractions.
The apartment itself was clean and bright with really lovely views from the living room and the two bedrooms furthest from the kitchen. I would say the pictures are pretty accurate in depicting the general ambience of the place, with its high ceilings and chic appointments.
Our group of 7 slept quite comfortably, although I would note that there is a definite discrepancy between the master bedroom, which has a large walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom, and the other two full bedrooms, one of which has no closet space and a very tiny bathroom and the other of which shares a communal bathroom off of the dining area. The fourth bedroom is really more of a small study with no closet space and a pullout couch that takes up the full width of the room, so you need to climb over the bed to get from one side of the room to the other. Again, this was all fine for our purposes, and all of the rooms were clean and comfortable and lovely. But if you are travelling with two or more adult couples, it’s worth noting that not all rooms in the house are created equal size and amenity-wise.
We were glad to have the option of using the kitchen, although we didn’t end up cooking much while we were there. It’s certainly passable for making a full meal, although probably not equipped for whipping up anything too complicated (standard for a rental). We used the coffee maker almost every day.
Harriet and Denis were responsive and very helpful. The welcome bottle of champagne and deluxe box of Lindt chocolates were a nice touch.

The apartment is located in the very heart of Paris and from there you can walk everywhere. (It's a two minutes walk to the Centre George Pompidou/Beaubourg, six minutes walk to Notre-Dame and the Seine where you can take the bateaux-mouche (river cruise boats), it's a ten minutes walk from the Louvre or Saint-Germain-des-Près.) The apartment is surrounded by shops, cafés, typical french bistros and restaurants, but also famous bakeries. If you like plays, you can walk to many theaters, jazz clubs or go to either operas which are also close. It's the ideal location for first time travelers to Paris or people that have come many times. If you ride the subway or want to take the RER (direct to CDG), you have many stations surrounding the apartment. If you like parks, Le Jardin des Tuileries is really close. Very lively neighborhood, fun and exciting.
