Welcome to the residence of the Semaphore at The Thatch Sables d'Olonne:
The full foot apartment for 4 people is located in a small collective of the residence of the Semaphore. The decoration and furniture where wood stained mahogany and brass have their place, is the oldest marine style for a real change of scenery.
It features a main room with sitting area and kitchenette with all the necessary equipment for a pleasant stay. It has an independent room with bed two places in very good condition and a sleeping area in the entrance with bunk beds. Bathroom and toilet are separated.
It has a private garden with terrace and garden furniture.
The residence has its own private parking space numbered close to the entrance of the apartment and visitor spots.
THE RESIDENCE OF SEMAPHORE:
Located in the residential district of La Chaume, historic sailors, 100 m from the sea, 500 m from shops, the apartment is located in a quiet residence with swimming pool built in the Vendée style.
Residence in the distinction of having a former Semaphore dating from the nineteenth century dovecote. The swimming pool equipped with a children's paddling pool and a solarium is located near the Semaphore.
The situation near the sea, the beaches, the wild coast, the forest, the city center and its shops, enables a large number of activities including water sports, cultural, leisure ...
You can make bike rides on many bike paths along the wild coast and take you through the forest of Olonne or canoe ride in the salt marshes.
A small beach lifeguard on a natural pool with sea water is accessible by foot. The beach of "Paracou" on the wild coast is at 2500m.
The city center of Sables d'Olonne and the beach on the "Embankment" are easily accessible by the ferryman who takes you through the Channel.
You can see on one side the Port Olonna, and the other channel pier into the ocean.
THE DISTRICT OF CHAUME:
Thatch is the oldest and most typical of the city of Sables d'Olonne.
Although The Thatch is a neighborhood increasingly touristy, it still feels that it is especially the fishermen's neighborhood and local.
Along the channel can be seen from the village shops: cafes, restaurants, banks, small shops that keep their simplicity. Past the town hall annex of The Thatch is slowly sinking in the alleys of the neighborhood, bordered by small houses of fishermen. Then on to the Place Sainte Anne, known for its large mural that represents the life of the neighborhood. It is a trompe - l'oeil by artist Manfred Landreau there fifteen years.
Again along the channel towards the coast, you pass the Chateau Saint Clair and the Tower of Arundel with its museum of the sea.
Then we come to the beautiful Priory dedicated to Saint Nicolas, the patron saint of fishermen and boatmen.
The Priory offers stunning and breathtaking views of the Bay of Les Sables d'Olonne.
One can also see the pier and lighthouse tagging the harbor entrance.
Next to the Priory is the Memorial Peris at sea, dedicated monument
who died at sea.
Then you can continue the ride, take full eyes, breathe the fresh sea air along the sea front to the lighthouse of Armandèche, to the residence by Semaphore street or street of the Normans.
CITY OF SABLES D'OLONNE:
Renowned for its sunshine and its coves, the seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne offers many activities and maritime discoveries, urban, and natural.
