Buffalo Carriage house description
A 'just out of town' property with spectacular mountain views. Very serene setting, 5 minutes from downtown Buffalo with Clear Creek running through the heart of town and 10 minutes from the foot of the Big Horn Mountains. Fully contained, two bedroom, one bathroom, upstairs carriage home with private entrance. Unique property for a short or long stay. Washer and dryer, high speed internet, Dish net. Great for bike riders, hikers, fishermen, birding, and exploring the BiA Horns!

As others have noted, the apartment above the 3 car garage is much bigger than the pictures indicate. The place is very clean, well furnished, and well-decorated. Since it was summer, having A/C was nice, although not really necessary at night. The house is about 2-1/2 miles east of Buffalo just off of highway 16. This road has little traffic during the day, and almost zero at night, so windows-open was no problem. The property is a nicely landscaped island of quiet surrounded by hay fields and bluffs. The Big Horn mountains rise up to the west, and the cotton-ball Wyoming clouds float under a dome of blue sky. Bev and her husband were gracious hosts. I only wish I could think of more reasons to go back - I'd definitely stay here. Compared to the strip hotels in Buffalo, this rental is infinitely better. And the dogs were fun.
We really enjoyed our stay at this carriage house. It was immaculate, with a beautiful location and extremely nice and helpful owners. I would highly recommend this location for a quiet, restful stay.
My wife and I and our grown daughter stayed in the Carriage House for a week and were thoroughly pleased with it. The two bedrooms, kitchen, laundry facilities and private balcony looking toward the Big Horn Mountains were perfect for us. It was clean, well maintained and in an ideal location for us to visit our family in Buffalo. Bev was a very gracious host. Our plane was late, so we didn't arrive until 1am, but she stayed up to welcome us. She was available and interesting to get to know, but never intrusive. We're already planning to stay there again next summer when we return.
This is a beautiful property, located just a mile east/north of Buffalo, WY, within minutes of Buffalo and the central Big Horn Mountains. The property is a fully and nicely furnished, two bedroom apartment atop an oversized 3-car garage/shop. Full sized kitchen with appliances, large bathroom, internet access, laundry facilities, and TV. The proximity to Buffalo and the Big Horns make it attractive for sightseers, good fishing, and hiking. Friendly, helpful owners!
This rental provided more than we ever expected, especially the owners input on local restaurants. Perfect for access to Buffalo, The Big Horns and beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.
