This is a beautiful two bedroom, one and a half bath, ocean view condo, located on the third floor of the C complex. This premium unit at the end of the building is complete with a remodeled kitchen with everything 1 1/2 bathrooms, high end amenities, art and fixtures, Ipod player, flat screen TV and DVD player. Master bedroom has a queen size bed and second bedroom has a pull out trundle bed. Two separate covered lanai with unobstructed views of Maui and Lanai complete the offering. Wavecrest's Oceanfront pool, cabana, BBQ's, and beautiful landscaped grounds accent this property. The condo does have a land line with free calls to the mainland. Cell phones are not always the best on Molokai.
Molokai is known as "The Friendly Isle." It is also considered the most Hawaiian island. Like stepping back in time 50 years, you won't find traffic lights, elevators, malls, glitz, or night life. If you're looking for rural place for relaxation, snorkeling, beautiful ocean views, quiet beaches, and old Hawaii, you'll find it on Molokai. Molokai is the smallest of the main Hawaiian chain; 38 miles long and only 10 to 15 miles wide. Its west side is arid and dry we beaches the winter great for surfing not for swimming and summer the beaches are calm for snorkeling and swimming The eastern side is more lush and tropical with miles of barrier reef in front.
Molokai's north side is famous for having the world's highest sea cliffs which rise some 3000 feet out of the ocean. The 2774-acre Kamakou Forest Preserve on Molokai overlooks these sea cliffs and is home to endangered birds and over 200 Hawaiian plants that grow only in this preserve.
Molokai South side is where you will find our main town of Kaunakakai and has a
handful tourist and art shops, two full service grocery markets, a health food store, a bakery, and even a wine and cheese shop. You'll also find some shopping in the villages of Kualapu'u and Maunaloa.

Exactly what we expected, very nice base to explore Molokai. We had no issues with the rules they all seemed basic common sense however there was a harsh emphasis on violations and penalties around the whole complex that left a less than welcoming first impression. . Bareley usable wifi but decent cell reception. We had friends also from Alaska in two additional units and it made it a fun convenient way to vacation with friends.
