XVIII Century rebuilt Building at Downtown Center but Quiet. Walk everywhere .

Romantic flat located right in the center of Oporto (part of UNESCO World Heritage area) where you can walk to all the places you want to visit. Many of the city's attractions are very close to it.

Due to it's important role on Porto's history, 'Rua das Flores' Street has more foreign people visiting it during the day than local people. It's a place you cannot miss visiting. But why not staying on it for some days instead?

The flat is carefully furnished and features hard wood floors. This well sized and comfortable apartment it is for two people but it can host 2 more at the living room. It has one bedroom with one queen size bed, a bathroom and a living room completely furnished. The living room can be used as a room with his sofa-bed. Clean bath towels, Linen and tableware are included and the kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, oven, fridge, toaster and kettle and all you need to prepare your own meals.

The Building was completely rebuilt 10 years ago and had to keep the original architecture by imposition of the culture department of Portugal maintaining it's beautiful Portuguese style.

The apartment is at 300 meters from Ribeira Square. Located at just 4 minutes walk from the Metro station 'São Bento', thus arriving from Oporto airport or any other places in Porto city, it is convenient, fast and economical and it can easily take advantage of all other public and tourist transport. Next to the apartment you can enjoy supermarkets, grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, museums and taxi stops. Set in the heart of Porto's historic district, all important monuments can be explored on foot. For example, Clerigos Tower, Lello Library, Bolsa Palace, Ferreira Borges Market are just 4 minutes way. You can also visit the wine cellars of Porto and the Cais de Gaia simply walking across D. Luís Bridge and get the chance to do a Cruise in the River. Nearby you can rent bicycles, program a guide visit and get the tram to the beach in a beautiful trip along the Douro River.

Is included in the price, sheets and bath towels, kitchen essentials and cleaning at end of stay. Wireless internet is also included.

Late check-in is acceptable until 01:00 a.m.. Late check-out is possible if we don't have new guests on the same day.

Location is crucial when visiting a city like Porto and our flat couldn't be more central than this. Metro and Train stations at 200 meters. One of the most important streets in Porto named "Rua das Flores", near to Ribeira, full of beautiful buildings, street artists and fantastic stores. Clerigos Tower, Lello Bookstore, Bolsa Palace and many other are all at less than 500m. Visit the wine cellars of Porto simply walking across D. Luís Bridge and get the chance to do a Douro Cruise.

GREAT apartment in Porto

My husband and I went to Portugal to celebrate our 25th anniversary and we are so glad we included Porto as part of the trip. This is a wonderful apartment to stay at when visiting this beautiful city. The apartment is centrally located-an easy walk from the São Bento Train and Metro Stations. It is modern and clean, has a fully stocked kitchen and with a view of the cathedral. You can easily walk to any of the many historical sites around the area. We would definitely stay here again. Our hosts were very helpful and flexible with our arrival time. They gave us some great tips on where to eat and special places to see. Obrigada.

Not as good as we hoped for.

The unit has a great location on a pedestrian street within walking distance to both the river on one side and the less touristy 'city' on the other side. Cristina was charming and the unit was spotlessly clean. That being said, we would not stay there again even though we loved Porto. For us, there are a couple deal breakers: the layout of the apartment does not allow complete closure between the bedroom and the living room/kitchen area which allows light and noise to go back and forth; the internet was inconsistent and so frustratingly unreliable; and lastly, through no fault of the owners, a new restaurant opened right underneath the unit and the constant all-day noise of chairs being scraped on the stone floors as the patrons were seating themselves was very annoying.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. The layout of the apartment is well shown in the pictures and guests love the big and charming chimney in the center of the apartment. And that's why guests choose it and book it, not only via Homeaway but via other websites. During the rebuilt of the apartment, to keep the chimney, the bedroom and living room could not be closed, so there is a passage between them. But if you keep the windows of both sides closed, you will have complete darkness in the apartment. Complete is really 100%. Considering the internet, we would be glad to help if we knew you were facing problems. We never got a call from you during your stay informing us of this problem. We always leave our contacts and if something is not ok, our guests contact us and we try our best to solve it. The store at ground level is not a restaurant. It has open a store that makes pancakes and waffles with Nutella. During the first days, the store was completely full, with big queues outside the store (madness). The noise we hear is only perceptible if we want complete silence, otherwise, you will not notice it because it is really low. Nevertheless, this store is open from 11.00 until 24:00 (on summer) and 11.00 and 23:00 (on winter), which means that the apartment will be completely silent for (at least) 11 hours (the most important time, which is during sleeping time). This is a perfect place to stay during a visit to Porto. It is modern, simple, comfortable and super clean. The location is perfect and almost all major points of interest can be walked to.

Excellent accommodation in Porto.

Excellent accommodation in Porto. Close to all major attractions, supermarkets and restaurants. Cristina and Joao went out of their way to be flexible with our arrival and departure times, including holding our luggage. The apartment was clean, had a great view of the cathedral, provided an excellent kitchen with cooking equipment and wifi. We would definitely stay again.
