Walk to Willabys one of the only waterfront resutrants in the area, where the sunsets are amazing just like the food. Take a day trip to Willamsburg VA 50 miles away, shop in one of 3 nearby towns or just hang by the pool!
I am a real estate broker with over 35 years in the business! I am an avid golfer and tennis player. I am married to an amazing builder, together we make a great team for anybody looking to buy, build or remodel a home here on the Northern Neck and in New Mexico!
Virginia Henry purchased this farmhouse in 2013
This was my parents home, and I decided to keep it in the family and open it up to the public!
Great location walking distance to the Rappahannock River, pool and tennis make this place a complete package! Also there are 3 great golf courses within 10 miles, plenty of boating and fishing too!
Stayed a long weekend for a destination wedding in the area. Great facility for a family gathering. Plenty of space to spread out with all the necessary amenities. Beautiful, quaint area. Lots of wildlife and walking distance to the river.
Not sure where to start, everything was just great. The house is beautiful, and it was large enough that the 10 of us could sit somewhere quiet and read a book or just sit together and play board games. The living room has a large enough sofa and two chairs for all of us to watch a movie. There is a desk in the living room as well where you could put you lap top on in case you want to connect to the out world. The dining room has a large table as well, the kitchen is nicely stocked, we cooked every night, the microwave is old ( I had seen this in another review) but it works just fine, as does the oven. There is a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room on the first floor. Second floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom. No complaints on uncomfortable beds. The pool was great and we used it everyday we bought our own floats but there is a couple in the pool house, we played tennis as well again we bought some racquets but there are some in the house for you to use. There is also a basketball hoop and that was a lot of fun as well. We even had a daily evening visitor, a deer. We didn't really explore the town or vineyards but fully enjoyed the beautiful house that has so much to offer and we just spent time together away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Virginia is just wonderful, I texted her a few times with questions and within minutes I had a response. The Oza's will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful and well-kept, and the kitchen was well-equipped for making meals together. We enjoyed many of these meals on the backyard deck and grilled outside as well. We also loved having the pool and tennis and basketball courts right in the backyard. Our family of nine included some who have accessibility needs and needs for other special supports. The multiple beds in several bedrooms and the bedroom on the first floor were very helpful for that. We enjoyed Front Porch Coffeehouse and the Dog and Oyster Vineyard nearby!
This home was the perfect spot for us to relax and feel like family. The pool was amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable. It felt like we didn't even need to leave the home to feel like we were on vacation.
My husband, adult children, and dogs enjoyed our stay in White Stone, VA. The home was certainly comfortable and functional, but we were disappointed with the yard and pool. The pool was warm, stagnant and cloudy upon our arrival. The pool guy came twice, but he even admitted that the water was not quite right and despite his best efforts, it was going to take more time. It seemed much better the day before we left, but since the pool was the main selling point to rent this house, we sadly did not get full use of it. The grass was 6 inches long when we arrived and it wasn't mowed until midweek. There were only two pool chairs and a broken umbrella on the pool deck. The house air conditioner worked well, and the beds were comfortable. We cooked in every night but one, and I recommend some attention be given to restocking the kitchen as many items are not usable and old and broken. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we especially enjoyed exploring the area. We recommend crabbing on the Chesapeake, visiting the wineries, and kayaking at Belle Isle State Park.
We absolutely loved the house and the area. The pool was awesome. We LIVED in the pool- such a hot/sunny week. Loved the tennis Court and all the comforts of this beautiful home. I actually thought the old microwave was really cool. IT worked just fine. The Beds were very comfortable. We did complain about the ants and Virginia had someone come out right away and take care of the problem. We recommend checking out Hughlett point & its natural beach, which we all loved, especially our lab, Kady. Willaby's was great and there's a really great boutique in Irvington (Dandelion) that my daughter and I enjoyed while the guys played golf. A wonderful place to be with the ones you love!!! Thanks again Virginia! Megan and Joe Rooney
Great golfing, dinning and shopping!
