About Kay Knight

This property owned by Chastain Knight Properties, LLC. Manager, Kay Knight, and lives in the Marietta area of Metro Atlanta.

Why Kay Knight chose North East Florida

We have loved Amelia for many years!! I first came to Fernandina as a child to camp at Fort Clinch and visit relatives. We begin vacationing at Amelia as a young married couple and even named our second child Amelia because this beautiful island means so much to us.

What makes this villa unique

The beach here is wonderful for collecting shells and sharks teeth. Amelia Island Plantation is well known for its live oak canopy and preservation of the natural setting. Amelia Island State Park adjoins the Plantation and provides a large undeveloped area for the beach walker to explore. We have regularly seen bald eagles, osprey, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, to name just a few of the bird species present in large numbers at the resort. We enjoy watching schools of dolphin feeding from our patio, living, and dining room areas. Walking and biking trails are abundant throughout the resort. There is an indian burial mound on the marsh side of the island on one of the walking trails. Amelia Island Plantation is truly a nature lover's destination. For those of you with small children, there is an amazing playground with a pirate ship fort hidden among the oaks.

We loved our. Our family was there from Saturday to Saturday and we couldn't have asked for a better location. There was minimal activity and traffic at this location and it was very quiet. It was absolutely beautiful. Will stay there again.

Wonderful Spring Break stay!

  • 5 of 5

This property was just beautiful and very well-appointed. There was nothing that we needed during our stay that was not readily available to us. The owners were very prompt in replying with information and feedback. We would love to stay here again! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your home!

Everything said in previous reviews is true- this is truly a premium property. Exceptionally clean and well maintained, we felt like we were the very first family to stay there. The villa is very well equipped (just about everything you could think of is in the storage closets- did I count a total of 6 bikes?), the interior decorating is beautiful (loved the bathrooms!), and everything is high-end. There was more than enough room for us and our two daughters and their families.

We enjoyed beautiful views of both the sunrises and sunsets, long walks on the beach, refreshing dips in the pool, and walking along the quiet paths. We also enjoyed a visit to Fernandina Beach, and had a wonderful breakfast buffet at the Sunrise Cafe at the main resort.

The owner provided great customer service and answered all of my questions within an hour or two. I felt like she really cared. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone needing 3 bedrooms with 3 baths- you will not be disappointed!

Great beach property!

  • 5 of 5

This villa is perfection! It had plenty of room for my grown children to spread out and have their own space to relax. It had everything we needed to enjoy our week long stay. The views from this villa are breathtaking! It was so nice to open the shutters and look at the ocean from the kitchen and living room areas. We also loved the balcony area to relax and enjoy the views of the pool and beach! Parking was the only down side-we had difficulty finding close parking several nights after returning from dinner.
