Love the mountains! Peace and quiet; great hiking trails surround us. Jamestown is a wonderful little town, and the Mercantile offers the best Sunday breakfast/brunch in Boulder county. Great music on weekends, too.
We had a wonderful time at this vacation home! The house was well appointed and had lots of room. The view from the deck, across the lake and into the Indian Peaks, was amazing. Soaking in that view, whether from the deck or down in the hot tub, was Colorado perfection. We had lots of day-time plans, but pulling ourselves away from this great set-up and relaxing atmosphere was hard to do! We liked the location, as it is a short drive to the Indian Peaks Wilderness and to the Wild Basin area of RMNP, which allowed us quick access to some great hikes. The owners were easy to work with, and the booking process and entire stay went very smoothly. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone planning a visit to this beautiful part of Colorado, and I would love to stay here again in the future.
Worth it for the gorgeous view alone! Added to that, the fact that this place is close to so many great hiking areas makes it hard to beat. The location is also perfect for exploring Boulder and the surrounding mountain towns, and the homeowners are fantastic to work with. I can't recommend it enough!
We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend with the family and had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful - rock outcroppings, fire pit, lake, wrap around deck, views... The house was nice, beds were comfortable and the owners were great to work with. We went for a nice hike down the road along a river. Thanks for letting us stay there!
A comfortable, modern home with all the amenities you need for a wonderful getaway in the mountains. The views from the deck and hot tub are stunning. I have enjoyed several beautiful hikes in the area during summer and fall visits, including a lovely meadow walk through national forest land a short distance from the property. I would definitely return!
An absolutely more beautiful peaceful place in the mountains you'll never find! Comfortable beds, a wrap around deck, mountain views from almost every window, wildlife, an incredible hot tub and everything you'd ever need to relax! Walk right out the door and begin your hiking adventure!
We couldn't have hoped for a better place to hike during the day and relax on the patio and in the hot tub at night. The views from the deck are spectacular day and night. Also the owner Sandi was super helpful in every way! Trust me, this place is a gem that we will be returning to soon!
This is a quiet, remote location. The nearest gas stations and grocery stores are in Boulder or Nederland, and both towns are about 18 miles away.
