The property has a full climate control / air conditioning / heating system which can be individually controlled in each room. It is extremely rare for any residential property in London to have any air conditioning at all (even in one room) let alone full climate control throughout.

Ultra high speed fibre broadband wi-fi internet throughout property (stable, unlimited usage and included in rental rate)

Bedroom features:

All bedrooms have their own large 39” HD Smart TVs and their own individual SKY TV cable boxes with full movie and sports packages and on demand and catch-up TV services. Additional TV features include internet browser and apps such as Netflix, Facebook, Youtube etc all built into the TVs. Bedrooms also feature newly built in wardrobes and additional lighting controls next to bed so that all bedroom lights can also be turned on or off without having to get out of bed. Additionally all bedroom doors have coded handles so they can be locked by simply pressing a button and re-entered by pressing a 6 digit code, if required, keeping your belongings secure.

Living Room features:

The living room includes a 50” HD Smart TV also with the above features plus a 7.1 surround sound system and DVD player. An ambient lighting system enables the lights to be changed to any color. There is plenty of seating with 2 3-seater sofas as well as armchairs and additional seating. Also, the sofas are sofa beds which can provide additional sleeping facilities if required. Bathroom features:

All bathrooms include features such as thermostatically controlled hand douches/shattaf showers, 10x magnification shaving mirrors, marble surrounds, dehumidifying extractors, soft closing toilet seats, heated towel rails. Most importantly the 250 litre hot water tank and new water mains pipes and Megaflo system ensure an endless supply of hot and cold water with no loss in water pressure even if all bathrooms are being used simultaneously. Unlike most London properties, with their old electrics and Victorian plumbing, this apartment has been designed to cope with the most demanding requirements with every wire and pipe in this property being brand new.

Kitchen features:

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen includes such features as marble worktops and splash backs, a stunning huge marble island which can comfortably seat 8 people and is fully equipped with appliances such as dishwasher, pyrolytic oven, gas hob, ultra powerful extractor, fridge, freezer etc. There are several power points built into the island so you can charge laptops and mobile phones without having to move.

Perfect Location

We stayed here during the week of July 4th. We had 5 people in our party which included 3 adults and 2 teenagers. First, Chris was great to deal with - he met us at the property and showed us around. He was very responsive. We loved the apartment, especially because the week was a hot one and the apartment has air conditioning which we truly appreciated. The size was perfect for our party and the location was ideal. It is within a very short walk to the Holland Park tube station, a Tesco Express for groceries, several coffee shops and a variety of great restaurants (as well as a great gelato place right downstairs). We were also able to walk to the Portobello Market (on Friday and Saturday) and the Knotting Hill area which offered so much more in terms of shops and restaurants and another tube station. We found the location to be perfect for us. The apartment itself is great. It has everything you could need. We really didn't cook there, except for breakfast, but you could if you wanted to do so. We spent our days touring all over London and we always ended up back at the apartment for a short rest (and usually a latte from the local coffee shop) before walking somewhere fantastic for dinner. Just for information, the location of the apartment is a bit hard to find - it is marked as 146 Holland Park, but the door actually leads to a dentist office as well, with the apartment at the top of the interior steps. That confused us a bit, but fortunately Chris explained this so we knew we had the right place. Other than that, just be aware that you will have to haul your luggage up the narrow steps to the apartment so don't pack too much like we did! But it can certainly be done. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home base for our vacation

Our family of 8 (7 adults and a toddler) wanted to take a vacation of a lifetime to London, but didn't want to stay in 3 separate hotel rooms. This location in the Notting Hill area of London was perfect. Quick, pleasant walk to the Tube for our sight seeing, with shops, cafes, and pubs on the same street.

The flat was a great place to relax together after the day trips, given the large kitchen and living room area. The three bedrooms upstairs were clean and comfortable. Chris was a great host, and thoroughly reviewed everything we needed to know.

Our whole family loved the place and would definitely stay again.

The location was great, easy to get all around London

There were lots of places to walk and everything if necessity was on the street The apartment was fully equipped and the lay out worked perfectly for a family traveling with 2 adult children.

Amazing flat in an amazing location!

Very well maintained flat. We were travelling with two families and were happy to find an affordable place in such a good location. We were very pleasantly surprised on arrival, because the pictures do not do the place justice. As an added bonus, it had great wifi, sky tv, etc--which was good for the kids to relax after walking all over London. We found an easy place to park the car on the JustPark website. Christopher was a great host!! We will look to stay here again on our next visit.

Excellent apartment and first-rate location

We just got home after a fantastic four night stay at the apartment. The place has everything you need and it was very comfortable for five of us. Chris met us after our early arrival and was gracious and thorough in getting us acclimated to every feature of the place. The kitchen was well supplied and there was plenty of room to cook. The living room had great couches and a superb TV. Upstairs the bedrooms was well-sized with nice firm mattresses.

Holland Park is lovely and the neighborhood has almost everything you need to stock the apartment or to go out. The Tesco express was remarkably well supplied for such a small space. We loved the local pub and enjoyed having the Underground 3 minutes away.

I would highly recommend this apartment.

Holland Park is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in London.

Holland Park has a reputation as an affluent and fashionable area, known for attractive large Victorian townhouses, and high-class shopping and restaurants. There are many popular shopping destinations located around Holland Park such as High Street Kensington, Notting Hill, Holland Park Avenue, Portobello Market, Westbourne Grove, Clarendon Cross and Ledbury Road.

Holland Park is now one of the most expensive residential districts in London or anywhere in the world, with large houses regularly listed for sale at well over £10 million. A number of countries maintain their embassies here.

Holland Park (the park itself) is is about 54 acres in area and is considered one of the most romantic and peaceful parks of West London. The open air Holland Park Theater in the park is the home of Opera Holland Park with numerous wonderful shows being performed from June through August. The park contains a famous orangery, a giant chess set, a cricket pitch, tennis courts, a Japanese garden, one of London's best equipped children's playgrounds, squirrels and (impressively for a London park) peacocks. The entrance to the park is only 2 mins walk away from the property (as is Holland Park Underground Station and numerous coffee shops and grocery stores in between).
