If you visit Tucson in the Fall, this is THE place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

I recently spent a week (9/16-9/23/2017) at this beautiful Roan Place property in Tucson. I had been a guest here in the winter years ago and my stay could not have been better. Anne is a lovely host, attentive and available if you need directions, or information about the Tucson area. The one bedroom apartment is immaculately clean and very well-equipped; quiet and away from city noise and lights. I spent evenings relaxing in the hot tub looking at the gorgeous night sky. So I was pleasantly surprised to visit here in late September and find Tucson warm enough to sunbath and swim in the wonderful backyard pool. It was great to come back from a day out hiking to cool off and stretch sore muscles with a few laps in the warm pool water. So if you want to hike, bike, or even be in town for business, through September and October, I highly recommend this property. In the Fall, it comes with happy hour around the pool and swimming for those so inclined.

was like living in Better Homes & Gardens Magazine

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at the Guest House from May through November 2014 and it was the most amazing home! Anne is a most gracious hostess and the property is straight out of Better Homes & Gardens! Beautiful landscaping, adjacent to the Saguaro Nat'l Park, amazing sunrises and sunsets and keep an eye out for the hot air balloons. Pretty patio and awesome pool area for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The house has all the amenities one could ask for: beautiful travertine shower and double vanity, huge walk in closet, dish tv, full sized washer and dryer and all new appliances including ice maker. Best location of any vacation rental since you get the best of both worlds, peaceful quiet retreat and only minutes to all the shopping amenities of Tucson malls, grocery, boutique shops and dining. I stayed 7 months and it felt like leaving home when it was time to go. Highly recommended at any time of year!

Quiet, Cozy, Charming

  • 5 of 5

We have been traveling to Tucson for many years and this property is by far the best rental we have encountered. Anne and her mother were terrific hosts, very accommodating. Anne even allowed us to arrive a day earlier than scheduled.

The location is perfect. Close to stores, restaurants & I-10. Better yet, it is in a nice neighborhood and the casita was quiet and comfortable.

The Casita is well supplied with necessities and included a washer and dryer, new stove, large frig, microwave, bath with double sinks and travertine shower, cable and WiFi.

Wish we had more time to spend there but we were in town on business. A perfect get away for anyone. The pictures she offers of the property can't begin to show you all of its charm.

Beautiful casita

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful two-week stay we spent at Roan Reserve. It met every need we had for a great place to be. It was absolutely beautiful. The house is nicely decorated and well stocked with all the items one would use at home. We took walks in the neighborhood and to the Saguaro National Park, which is adjacent to the casita. The sunsets were breath taking. The shopping is very convenient with a Fry's nearby, as well as Sprouts and Trader Joe's. Many wonderful restaurants in the near area, such as Miss Saigon, Boston's, Chuy's, etc. Anne was a wonderful hostess and very helpful in every way. I would highly recommend this cozy casita.

Loved this casita!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this beautiful casita for 11 days and loved it! Grocery stores, restaurants and golf courses are nearby. We liked the location in the northwest Tucson desert. Anne was a very friendly and accommodating hostess, and provided for our every need.

The casita was very clean and updated, new kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, large walk-in closet. The kitchen and bathroom were generously stocked. We highly recommend a stay here!
