Continental Divide National Scenic Trail

Approximately 80 miles of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) runs through Wyoming. This scenic trail goes from Mexico to Canada. In Wyoming, it goes from the Sierra Madre mountains to the western edge of Yellowstone National Park along the Continental Divide. The trail passes through the Big Sandy Opening in the southern part of the Winds to Green River Lakes on the northern end of the range. The trail is marked with CDT signs, wooden signs, tree blazes or rock cairns. In some places, the trail is obscure, so it is helpful to have good maps and a compass with you. About Pam Fetzner

We moved to Wyoming from Illinois to follow our dreams and get out of the rat race of the big city life. We built our house and our guest lodging in 2005. We maintain the property year round, keeping our road open all winter. Steve has been a taxidermist for over 40 years. You can view his shop and his work during your visit.

Pam Fetzner purchased this studio in 2005

Why Pam Fetzner chose Wyoming

We built in this location due to it beauty and to the easy access to all types of summer and winter recreation. The activities of the area are endless from hunting big game to just relaxing and everything in between.

What makes this studio unique

The mountain views from the front porch are breath taking. The mountains seem to change constantly with the changing light of the day. You can see the stars and the milky way at night like you have never seen before. The stars seem so close and almost on top of you. You never know when you will find moose, antelope, elk or deer in the yard. Every day is a surprise.

Awesome expericence

We have made a couple trips to the cabin, one for our honeymoon and another for a fall wildlife adventrue. The accomidations are great and very privite, setting in one of the most bueatiful area of the west in our oppinion. If you looking for a true get-a-way and something privite without all the tourest and hassels of town and peope this is the place for you. The one thing we love the most is it is remote and somewhere you can truly enjoy nature and yourself. Slow down unwind and feel better then you every have before, take a trip to upper green lake and stay withthe Fetzner's. Will be there every year. :) The Bowman's

Wonderful place!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time here! Very comfy quarters with everything you need. The views are fantastic so we ate outside most nights to take in the views. The owners are great hosts and we enjoyed staying on their property and finding out how they came to such a gorgeous place. Our only problem was not staying longer to really explore the area. We'll be back for sure.

Gateway to the Wind River Range

  • 5 of 5

I am so happy that I found this property. It was the perfect place for the base of our Green River valley and Bridger wilderness adventures. I cant wait to get back. While I have camped and fished on the upper Green many times, this property and the wonderful owners allowed us to make the most of our time on this trip and provided us all the comforts of home in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
