New Pool with Baja Shelf, sea turtle tiles and LED lighting just added. Dreamy beach house that is super close to the beach and beach access. Its 4 houses from the ocean and I promise you it is a closer walk from our house to the ocean than 90% of the condos on the oceanside! Its why we bought the house as our street is at the public access point and its super easy! We also have 2 rolling carts and rolling coolers for ease of use. Park in the 2 car garage, put your luggage in the private elevator and voila your home! There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on the first floor. 1st bedroom has a twin and full bed together- perfect for the kiddos. The twin is a brand new (2018) Casper mattress if your curious to try that out! 2nd bedroom has a queen bed (new 2018) and is a Tuft and Needle (I love experimenting at other peoples houses to see what type of mattress I like best!) Both bedrooms open up to the backyard and private patio. Up the stairs or elevator is the 2nd floor with den that has large HD TV, blue ray system(smart with Netflix and Amazon prime) and a half bath nearby. Also on the 2nd floor is the large kitchen with center island and bar. The kitchen is equipped with a range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, frig/freezer with water/ice dispenser, 2 coffee makers (a Keurig and a metal carafe) and toaster oven. All of the amenities from home are here! The entire home also has an added water softener system that makes the South Padre Island water WAY better to drink and shower with than others! This is a HUGE plus! Also, big plus is the tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water! Also on the 2nd floor is a large dining area outdoor patio with BBQ grill (propane), a laundry room with awesome washer and dryer (many of our renters have gone home and bought the same one!) also with sink, ironing board and iron. There is also a wine/beverage and office nook that houses the free WiFi, a wireless printer for boarding pass print out and a beverage and wine frig. We have lots of games and puzzles also in this area for family fun! Take the elevator to the third floor and the LARGE master bedroom and bath await. The master bath has a jetted tub, large walk in shower with shower head and a waterfall shower head too. There is also double vanities and a bidet. There is also a master balcony where you can view the stars and the ocean and beach- gorgeous patio furniture too! The master bedroom has a king size Tempur-pedic (the real deal!) mattress and a HUGE (embarrassingly huge) flat screen TV and DVD player (smart- with Netflix and Amazon Prime). Also upstairs is another master-type bedroom with a king bed and smart tv and its own bathroom. This home is located 4 houses down from where you access the beach and is nestled in a super quiet neighborhood making this the home of YOUR dreams. Both of our next door neighbors on either side live there FULL time and are retired. Its super quiet- they are great and for sure no loud parties around you! There is an outdoor shower head for you to rinse off the sand from the beach at the house and I promise-you will not regret this vacation stay! Permit # 2015-558973.

About Ashley & JJ Gomez

We live in Dallas, TX. My husband is from S. Texas and works down in the Valley frequently. Therefore, we have vacationed and visited South Padre Island many times and for many years. It has always been our dream to own a beach vacation home, therefore the name Mi Sueño! We are honored to share our home with you, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Why Ashley & JJ Gomez chose South Padre Island

We had looked at numerous properties on the Island over MANY years. For us, the proximity of the ocean and beach and that it is right next to the public beach access point was key. We had looked at many of the condos that are all along the oceanfront, but after so MANY vacations and staying at many of the different complexes, we got tired of the hauling up the stairs or elevators and down the halls and all of the noise or people you may be 'sharing' your vacation with. So, we were onto private homes and this is the only one we found that had an elevator inside. With aging parents that we really wanted to share our vacation with, this was a winner. It is also newer construction, meticulously clean and nice. We have not looked back one minute and constantly think how lucky we are to have found it!

Very nice and clean

We loved our stay, plenty of room for everyone. Very close to the beach, and the pool was very nice too. House had plenty of anything you needed to take to the beach from beach towels, coolers, wagons, sand toys and so much more. The only thing I wished we would have had is some better weather it rained all 5 days. But still plenty to do. We will stay again

Spent 6 nights in mid may at Mi Sueno. Very comfortable. Probably best “appointed” rental property we have ever stayed at. 3 minute walk to the Beach. The pool really makes the house. Ashley was very responsive and great Ron work with. Would rent this property again!

Lovely space and location

The house is very spacious and clean with great outdoor space and the pool is good for all ages. We loved being withing walking distance to the beach and some of the best birding spots and the turtles. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble with the garage remote and some of the TV functionalities but otherwise everything was perfect. The elevator was amazing!

Owner's Response: Oh thank you thank you for the feedback! We immediately fixed the tv problem as 2 of our tvs were plugged into the cable in the wall and Spectrum had just changed to making boxes mandatory for all tvs- DONE immediately. So appreciate you letting us know! We also fixed the garage door remote too! We are there once a month so always willing to keep it to the standards we and others would want! Thanks!

Great vacation Home!

We had a fabulous vacation on South Padre Island. The house was perfect for our family of 10!

The beach toys, umbrella, wagon and coolers were great to have for the beach. The pool was terrific also. I would recommend this home to anyone.

VERY close to Sea Turtle Inc. that rescues endangered Sea Turtles open to the public.

Couple of miles from Schlitterbahn Beach resort that is open year round with an indoor and outdoor water park. Super close to lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, island fitness center- all within walking distance. Island Market is the store super close by, also Kelly's bar and restaurant, Parrot Eyes restaurant and activity center.
