Unique Dolphin Cottage at Kaanapali!

The overall experience was pretty good. Very spacious and for the most part clean. Pretty accurate from the photos, close to the pool. Had alot of accommodating things like hair dryer, washer and dryers, full kitchen, beach accessories, ect. The downfalls were as forewarned the bugs. Tiny ants everywhere and a huge centepied in the foyer. Had to wash the bugs out of the tub each each night. No bed bugs or anything like that though so its a normal tropical house environment. There was a random yellow mystery stain on one of the white bed blankets not sure what it was.. we just didnt use it. The beds were made nicely though and seemed freshly made. The Jacuzzi worked just fine, there is a chip of the plastic on one of the jets but doesnt prevent it from working, very big and nice for 2 people to gaze up out of the window above it, especially when it rained. The shower was really nice and spacious. The pool was just a mini walk from our place, looked nice but we never used it, we were to busy. It got pretty muggy, even with the fans on, there is no AC as posted, I'm not one who can stand the heat but it was okay. The biggest issue for us was parking, there was not enough space for guests. We had to park further away one night and walk a good distance back to our cottage. At first we made a way to park even so others could still back out but then someone used cones and started to block off space. We just wished there was more parking spaces cause it starts to inconvenience guests. Over all we would recommend staying here. There is alot of room in the house to sprawl out, really close to Lahina and black rock beach, we loved the bathroom and it was pretty uniquely designed, this would be good for couples or small families.
