Welcome to Hale O Ho'aloha which translates in Hawaiian to 'House of Friends'. This beautiful tastefully remodeled 2 master suite, ground floor P level villa is very spacious, approximately 1400 sq ft, and comforatable. Located in building 27 which is special because it's on the top row of the complex but unlike most on the upper row, looks down the 10th fairway with no other buildings below. Convenient to access from your dedicated and covered parking adjacent the building and has a private lanai or patio with a grassy area fronting the Kapalua Bay golf course and ocean view just beyond.
Nice furnishings, 2 king beds, that many guests rave about, an extra twin daybed for an extra person in one of the bedrooms and a queen pull-out sofa provide beds with fresh linens for up to 6 people comfortably. Includes features like travertine stone floors, granite countertops on quality cabinetry, spacious bathrooms with quality fixtures and walk-in showers, full size laundry machines, dining tables and chairs both inside and out for 6, sectional sofa with plenty of seating and large LED TV's with DVD players in both bedrooms and living room.

We've visited Kapalua almost every year for the last 25, generally staying at the Bay Villas. But sometimes we like a change of scene and this year decided on the Golf Villas. This one is outstanding vs. any Golf or Bay villa we've seen. It is tastefully and beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with all you need to enjoy your stay. If you like to cook sometimes, as we do, you'll find the kitchen has everything you need.
I've never reviewed Maui or the Kap before because, frankly, I didn't want to encourage more crowding! But, if you're interested in the islands, Maui is a wonderful place, with amazing things to do from the beach to 10,000 feet up the volcano. And it is far prettier than most of the Caribbean islands.
Kapalua is like an oasis for us, beautiful and serene, away - but not far away - from the bustle of Lahaina and Kaanapali Beach. it's easy to get to both if you wish. But there are great beaches and much to do right at Kapalua, as well.
Although the villa is at the top end of the property, you are still in easy walking distance of most of what you would want. If you do choose the beach, the villa has stocked towels, beach chairs, etc. for you to use.
All in all, an excellent property on a wonderful island.
One bonus is that, if you are arriving late, Dave is happy to take your shopping list and stock the villa with supplies before you arrive - a great convenience if you're getting in late, as we did. Although we know the island and didn't need it, Dave is also a great resource for places to go and things to do.
One of the really nice things about this particular golf villa is that it is in the last building, up at the top of Pineapple Hill - it is peaceful and has wonderful views out to Lanai and Molokai. Sitting on the lanai over morning coffee is a great way to start any day. The late afternoon sun is intense, of course, but the windows are well-shaded, so no problem. As the view as the sun sets is a perfect accompaniment to dinner on the lanai.
The manager met us at the unit. The unit was in great shape and very comfortable. The kitchen included many refrigerated condiments. The ground floor lanai was large and offered a great view of golf course and ocean. There was no map of pool and grill location. We also had a small problem with the smoke detector which was quickly remedied. When we return, we would strongly consider renting this unit again.
This is the second time we have stayed in one of dave's kapalua golf villas and continue to be impressed with both the quality of the villa and the quality of the service. The unit is beautifully decorated and incredibly well equipped. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Dave and his wife have thought of everything you might need to have the best vacation ever - from high quality beds and linens to beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkelling gear. The villa is conveniently located being close to the pool and bbq. The Kapulua resort is a perfect spot for golf, enjoying the beach and/or challenging walking/running trails. This is our 5th stay at Kapula and this unit exceeded our very high standards. We will be back.
If only we could have stayed longer! The Golf Villas offer gorgeous sweeping views of beautifully landscaped fairways and greens, neighboring Molakai island, bright blue water and skies. At night lounge on the lanai to view a blanket of stars. This tranquil unit is located towards the south end of the development, yet close enough to take advantage of the Ritz Carlton restaurants, Merriman's, beaches and golf courses. This well furnished 2 bedroom unit had the most comfortable king sized beds! Large beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers are provided for your use as well. Though we did not use, the complimentary shuttle is a nice perk. We look forward to returning next year!
This condo was absolutely perfect for our quick trip to Kapalua. The 2 master suites worked out great for 2 couples and the view was dreamy. We fully utilized the Kapalua shuttle system and the pool was empty almost every time we were there, basically giving us our own private pool. We would book again in a heart beat!
