This 110 m2 apartment, located on the third story of an elevator building on the prestigious Carrer de Muntaner in L'Esquerra de l'Eixample, has beautiful period details, including original mosaic floors, high plaster ceilings, stain-glass windows and polished wooden archways. A modern fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with shower, bathtub, and toilet, and another half-bath (toilet and sink) offers the perfect combination of elegance and practicality.

There is a large master bedroom with an arched sitting area at the back of the apartment, while two smaller bedrooms, one windowed, one without, line the hallway, so that no bedroom faces the street, providing for a peaceful night's sleep. The large living room has six tall windows opening onto terraces, with couches and a television. An adjoining dining area comfortably seats 6.

Within walking distance to Placa Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, las Ramblas and the historic districts of El Born, El Raval and El Barrio Gotico the apartment is ideally located. Restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and public parking are all nearby.

About Owner/Property Manager

We are a NYC family. I used to come to Barcelona to shoot TV commercials and loved it, now I just visit for fun with the family. I plan to spend 6 months a year in Europe and use it as a base.

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Eixample

We wanted something that felt like it was part of Barcelona, not just a mod apartment you could find anywhere. There's some beautiful detail, and it's in one of the best areas. It's great for families because we get a nice big master and the kids have their own rooms.

What makes this apartment unique

It is very sunny. The stores and restaurants in the surrounding blocks are first-rate. You can walk to the historic districts but you are not surrounded by tourists, so it feels more like a neighborhood you live in.

Beautiful apartment, city centre vibe, perfect for a visit to Barca. Spacious and comfortable with lovely original features. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, especially the cocktail bar opposite!

A Perfect Home to Explore Barcelona From

This is a beautiful, classic Barcelona apartment. Tile floors, high ceilings, the works. You'll feel instantly like a resident of Barcelona. The location puts you close to the popular sites in the City, while also sitting in a great neighborhood if you don't want to venture too far. Finally, the property manager ensures that you are welcomed and get connected to the city. She went out of her way to find the services we needed. We would come back and stay here in a heartbeat.

Large, Stylish Apartment in the Heart of Barcelona

This is a very spacious apartment on an active street in the L’Eixample district of Barcelona. The apartment is true to the photos. Stylish, modern décor. Large living room with separate dining room. Large master bedroom. The second and third bedrooms are much smaller but comfortable. The kitchen is fully functional (with dishwasher and washer, which we used). With five 60’s adults, we were very comfortable. There were no “annoyances” – everything worked. A plus was finding a very good restaurant literally next door which specialized in Catalan cuisine. David, Lizbeth and Graciela were very good to work with. Highly recommended as a base in Barcelona.

Perfectly Appointed and Great Location

If looking for a place to stay in the Eixample neighborhood, this would be a perfect option. Wonderfully convenient to everything in this district, and easy access to bus lines and metro stations. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and very well appointed with nice amenities and kitchen utensils. Our family found the apartment very comfortable. The owner was very responsive and takes great measures to offer suggestions of what to do in Barcelona. I felt like we experience a very authentic place to stay while visiting.

Perfect apartment for our stay!

Beautifully appointed apartment with everything it advertises and more. The communication with the hosts was excellent and every comfort was provided. Centrally located in a pretty neighborhood, we were just steps away from anything we needed. Very highly recommended!

Great apartment in a great neighborhood!

We celebrated my parents 50 years wedding anniversary and this was the perfect location. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. Everything went smooth: renting, getting the key, refund of the security deposit, etc. I would rent this apartment again. Graciela, our contact person in Barcelona was very kind and helpful.
