This home is located in the heart of Port Angeles. It has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a private, fenced in backyard perfect for barbecues. The second story balcony, off the master-suite, offers an amazing view of the mountains. It is great for unwinding after a day of shopping downtown or returning from a trip to Victoria, BC.. The major supermarket, Safeway, is a 5 min. walk from the home. Downtown Port Angeles with all of it's charm offers local restaurants, waterfront vistas, and shopping. All of this is a convenient 10 min. walk away. This house is a perfect home base to explore all that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer; including lakes, back country hiking, and the Olympic National parks.

Our experience was okay, fairly good, but not great.

The experience was fairly good but not excellent. We were a party of 7 total—4 adults and 3 teenagers and the house was way too small for our needs. The house is supposed to sleep 8, but this is a very tight fit as there are 3 bedrooms that sleep five people comfortably and a futon that opens up in the living/family room that can sleep maybe 1-2. As a group of 7, we were crowded and with the futon open to accommodate one of us, there was no open gathering area that was big enough for all of us to gather. In addition, there were only six chairs and placemats for dining room table and no extra chairs that worked so we could not sit around the table together. Some items we needed for cooking in the kitchen weren’t there (eg a standard cookie sheet/baking pan) and there were no extra amenities like tin foil or plastic bags which many rental houses have available. There were no written instructions about the house or info about the surrounding area. I think the house is adequate but not great.

The pluses of the house were that the property manager communicated well with us and was helpful and friendly. The check in and check out process went smoothly. The location of the house is good as it is near the downtown and grocery store. We could see beautiful sunsets and snow covered mountains from the front porch which was lovely in the evening. The neighbors were friendly and the area was quiet and peaceful.

I think the house would work well for 5 people (adults) but not 7-8 adults.

Excellent home in an amazing location.

I stayed here for a weekend with my fiance, our friends, and their dog. The home is spacious and well maintained. We loved having the fire pit in the back yard, and being able to walk into downtown Port Angeles for dinner and drinks. The purpose of our trip was to explore the Olympic National Park, which is only a short drive from the home. Overall, one of the best home rentals I have ever done.

Beautiful and comfortable home centrally located in the heart of Port Angeles.

Nice, clean home in a great location with easy access to the national park and the coast.

Nice and quiet neighborhood.

Good sized fenced in back yard.

High ceilings.

Close to downtown restaurants.

Lovely home, Stunning surroundings

5 People stayed comfortably in the house. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Nice common spaces in the living room with fireplace, dining room with high top table, front porch and backyard covered patio were enjoyed by all. My daughter even went outside on the second floor balcony to paint watercolors. We would rent this place again. The surrounding Olympic National Forrest had a lot to offer especially with our guide from the Olympic Hiking Company, Tommy Farris taking us to all the highlights.

A small suggestions is to add a dresser in the master bedroom.
