We celebrated a memorable wedding anniversary on muddy Creek in this rustic cabin. We were greeted by a gorgeous bald eagle, had fun kayaking to the cabin and enjoyed making a bonfire every evening. Our host Bill was available to provide dry firewood and whatever else we needed. We rarely go back to the same place twice but we both agree this little cabin will be our new exception. We are already planning our next trip back!
We had a fantastic time at the cabin. Bill was a great host and the cabin was a perfect place to spend a weekend relaxing, cooking and enjoying the beautiful setting.
Great spot to get away and reconnect with nature. Having to paddle out makes for a great little adventure and you can't beat the seclusion. Bill was very responsive and helpful with advice to get to the cabin. Had an excellent refreshing stay, would definitely visit again!
Absolutely secluded and private. Beautiful surroundings by the creekside in the woods. We enjoyed our stay with our 7 year old daughter. We would like to go back again.
Owner is very nice and helpful.
The location is idyllic, and Bill is a terrific host! We canoed and kayaked in and spent two beautiful relaxing days. My only caveat is that it's best to canoe when the river is higher as we spent a fair amount of time walking the boats down.
That said, I'd do it all again!
I had the most amazing time here with my girls! We were looking for an adventure and that’s exactly what we got. The owners were super friendly and totally made us feel at home there. I will definitely return to this magical place and I highly recommend it to all.
