Between sea, sun and countryside in Bormes-les-Mimosas on the Côte Varoise

Pleasant combination between sea and Provencal countryside, the hamlet of Cabasson, formerly inhabited by fishermen, has kept its original character.

In this haven of calm and peace, you will rent on a weekly basis and all year round, our charming villa, The Cypresses, which is listed 4 stars and labelled “Qualité Var”.

You will have all modern conveniences for 8/10 people with private fenced garden in a calm and quiet property in Bormes-les-Mimosas in the Var department on the Côte d’Azur in France.

You will enjoy crystal-clear waters and particularly hot waters at the beaches of Cabasson and Brégançon that are often mistaken but yet very different. The access to the first one is via small dunes covered with vegetation, tamarisks and reeds. The second one is accessible via a small rocky path under pines between the path to the fort and the fishermen cabins. Its water is particularly clear and hot and sheltered from the Eastern wind.

Beautiful villa and a friendly and correct landlord

We stayed in the villa in the end of March and enjoyed the villa. It is well-equiped and it is just as the pictures show.

The beautiful beach is about 8-10 minutes away when you walk. It was clean.

Before I mention 2 Things which weren't that nice, I want to make clear: I only mention these two things because they may be important for some people.

1: there is not a really nice possibility to sit together when you are more than 2 people. Downstairs theres is a comfortable couch at the fireplace but only 2 people can sit there. And upstairs - in the TV area - theres a couch and 2 chairs but we didn't really find it nice sitting there. There was no cosy atmosphere. So we always had to sit at the dining table for a chat since the weather wasn't warm enough to spend the evenings outside. BUT when the whether is good this isn't an issue. For us, in March, it was an issue.

The second thing you should be aware of is the distance. The next bakery is about 6-7 km away. So it will take you about 20-30 minutes if you want to have fresh bread for breakfast. Thats's the price you have to pay if you to stay in a very calm and quite area where the birds sing. So we decided to have cereals for breakfast.

So all in all: Would we come back again? YES, absolutely, if we come to this area of France the villa will be a top option for a stay.

Emplacement d'exception

Nous avons vraiment apprécié la proximité immédiate des plages de Cabasson et Brégançon (surtout quand on voit les difficultés pour accéder aux plages du coin en voiture!). On a l'impression d'être dans un petit village: la maison est calme est l'accès à la plage se fait par un petit sentier. La côte dans cette partie du Var n'est pas dénaturée par des gros immeubles et des routes. Une belle découverte.

A 500 m de la plage, la villa "les Chênes" est très agréable, décoration soignée, il n'y manque rien niveau confort + belles terrasses à l'ombre et au soleil, et propriétaire à l'écoute de ses locataires. Un grand merci !

On a passé une semaine calme et de repos dans cette petite maison sympath!

Maison trés agreable, tres propre et bien equippée, petite jardin avec grande terrasse. Super douche exterieur.

Belle endroit pret de la plage, et du sentier du littoral. Accueil chaleureux. On revient surement. P+S, Allemagne
