With floor area of 100 square metres and very spacious rooms, the apartment has sleeping capacity of 4+2 persons and is ideally suited for a large family, two couples or a group of friends. It is centrally located in green surroundings close to everything that a demanding visitor may need - shops, bank, post-office, supermarket, green market, tourist information centre, recreational facilities, restaurants, café bars and terraces with live music. A short walk through a pedestrian tree-lined alley takes you to the many beaches, while the whole area abounds with picturesque seaside walks in the shade of Mediterranean trees. The old town with its historical and cultural attractions is a 10-minute bus ride away. Air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, dish washer, laundry machine, large living room, satellite TV, Hi-Fi, Internet access, ample sanitary spaces and two balconies with flower beds make any length of stay equally comfortable in summer or winter.

The apartment is truly a home away from home, as it served as a home before we renovated it for renting. It is large, in excellent location and spotlessly clean. It has spacious bedrooms, ample sanitary spaces and well maintained household appliances. Airconditioning and double glazed windows provide comfort at all outside temperatures, while cosy balconies give it an open-air feeling, especially in summer mormings and evenings.

Clean, spacious and well-located apartment.

The apartment was well-situated for local beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and tourist attractions - just as expected from the description and other reviews. The apartment was well-equipped and ideal for us as a family of 5. Buses to Dubrovnik Old Town served by a bus stop outside the apartment (the downside being the noise levels on the balconies). Our hosts were wonderful. Very welcoming without being overbearing. When we were delayed and missed a connecting flight, they re-arranged the airport taxi for us and were at the apartment to greet us, with drinks and snacks at 11pm, 6 hours after we were due to arrive! (Ask Katija to book the airport taxi - much more convenient than buses and very little difference in price). Good beaches nearby and excellent snorkelling off the rocks on the Lapad peninsula (equip yourself with aqua shoes to protect from rocks and sea urchins). Best trips for the family were Lopud Island, Dubrovnik City Walls and Lokrum. We used local ferries - much cheaper and more flexible than tours.

Huge, attractive and well-located apartment

My partner, young son and I stayed in this delightful apartment for the final week of our three week trip in Croatia - and what a way to end! The photos really do not do the apartment justice, it is so spacious and charming, and easily the best equipped apartment that we have ever stayed in. Having food items like olive oil, flour etc provided really is so useful in a self-catered apartment and all of the rooms are charmingly decorated.

Katija and her husband were extremely helpful and friendly, and we really appreciated all of their advice which led to discovering some wonderful places (such as the nearby Cave Bar, which was a real treat and we would highly recommend!).

It is very easy to get from Lapad to the Old Town (there is a direct bus that takes about 10 - 15 minutes) which leaves from just outside. Lapad is very convenient if you're travelling with children as there are many restaurants down the main promenade of varying prices and cuisines.

Overall, a fantastic, flawless apartment which we would happily return to and recommend to others!

Excellent Apartment in Good Location

This was a perfect apartment for our 10 day holiday with plenty of space for all four of us. We travelled with our two adult children, aged 19 and 21, and they were delighted with the WiFi, easy access to bars, jet skiing, beach, bus into Dubrovnik and ferries to the islands. We were equally happy to explore Dubrovnik, swim from the rocks and eat out at local restaurants. Highlights for all four of us were taking the cable car to the top of Mount Srd for fantastic views and sea kayaking in the evening watching the sun set on the Old Town of Dubrovnik.

Katija and Dado were extremely helpful; they organised taxis to and from the airport, welcomed us on our arrival, and recommended various restaurants and trips. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped and we were especially pleased there was air conditioning as our stay was during a heatwave.

This was the perfect location for a combined city/beach holiday with shops, supermarkets, bus stop, post office and plenty of restaurants all within a few minutes walking distance.

Fantastic apartment!

We travelled as a group of 4 adults and 2 small children (10 months and 3 years) as our autumn vacation to Dubrovnik.

Apartment is located in a good position to explore Dubrovnik and surroundings. Old town is short bus ride away (you can also walk, but it takes about 25 min from adults). Nearest beach is short walk along Pedestrian Street that starts right in front of apartment. There are good restaurants nearby but you may want to avoid pedestrian street restaurants. There is also children playground along Pedestrian Street.

When we arrived, Dado and Katija came to meet us to round a bout, located next to apartment building. Dado took us to short walk around and showed us where we can find restaurants, shops, bakery etc. that are located nearby. They made us feel very comfortable to start our stay. Our special needs, when travelling with small children, were also taken care of as we requested, perfect! Dado also dropped by couple of times during our stay, just to make sure everything is fine.

Apartment is planned perfectly, large bedrooms, good sized bathrooms, separate toilet, kitchen and dining area and living room. Hallway separates rooms and doors make sure that children can sleep and adults can enjoy living room at evenings. All areas are clean and well maintained, as we expected.

Reservation was made easy and simple for us, thanks to Katija’s quick e-mail responses and well explained reply’s to our question.

For our group this was the best choice, I could not ask for more. Thank you very much Katija and Dado!

Yes we can recommend this apartment when visiting Dubrovnik.

Beautiful Apartment with Wonderful Hosts

This is a very spacious, very clean and well maintained condo unit. We were two couples and enjoyed 4 lovely nights in this beautiful apartment. Both bedrooms were very large, with two well appointed full bathrooms (one with shower, one with tub and shower) plus another half bathroom. The kitchen area is not large, but well equipped with all you need, beside the eating area which has access to a small balcony, perfect to enjoy your morning coffee. The living room area is large and very comfortable with a great leather couch, TV wall unit, a separate desk with computer and printer available for use, plus the condo has wireless internet you can connect to as well. There is another larger balcony off of the living room area which accommodated all four of use quite nicely. This balcony has direct access to one of the two bedrooms too. It is on the second floor and there is no elevator but the stairs are wide and well lit.

The Condo is very well located, on a lovely pedestrian only street, about a five minute walk past many restaurants and little shops to a nice beach. It is about a 10 minute bus ride to the Old Walled City. There is a fairly busy traffic circle where the bus stops close by, however the surrounding trees and good quality windows prevent any traffic noise inside the unit. Two restaurants (Seafood & Italian), recommended by our hosts, were within a 5 minute (or less) walk and both were excellent.

As for our hosts, we cannot say enough good about Katija and Dado and the assistance they gave us. To begin with, we were driving and they offered to meet us at the edge of the city and guide us to the apartment. They helped us unload, get settled in, and spent time providing us with many tips and recommendations about where to go, what to do, and what to see. All of the restaurant recommendations they made, either in Dubrovnik or outside on one of our day trips, where spot on and always excellent. It did not end there! While parked one night someone backed into our rental car and they took the time to help us deal with the local police to file a report. That's going the extra mile to help out in my book and we cannot thank them enough!

Bottom line is, this is a great place to stay with very gracious and helpful hosts. We hope all will enjoy it as much as we did.

A SUPER APARTMENT IN LAPAD

This apartment is in an excellent location, convenient for the beach, bars, restaurants and supermarket. The bus stop is just outside and the journey into Dubrovnik Old Town is only about ten minutes. The apartment is clean and spacious and has everything you will need to make your stay a comfortable one, including very efficient and quiet air conditioning. Owners, Katija and Dado are excellent hosts who went to great trouble to provide us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

The apartment is located in the centre of Lapad, the green area of Dubrovnik. It exits to a tree-lined pedestrian alley, fully renovated several years ago with flower-beds, grass areas, and new lighting, giving the surrounding area a beautiful new appearance. In the immediate neighbourhood are supermarket, shops, bank, post-office, green market, tennis grounds, tourist information centre, open-air restaurants and caffe bars. Within a 5-minute walk are beaches and rocky coast in Lapad Bay, sailing and rowing clubs, picturesque walks along the seaside or up forrested hills, swimming pools, wellness centres and terraces with live music in the evenings. Frequent local bus service operates until late at night from the bus station in the adjoining street and the ride to the old town takes about 10 minutes. Trips to nearby islands Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan can be organised by excursion boats from Lapad Bay, as well as boat shuttle service or ship from Gruz harbour, a 20-minute walk away.
