About this property

Typical chalet, two levels, comfortable. Electric heating and stove. Large sunny terrace with shaded area in summer. You will enjoy a magnificent view of the village of Orcières, the Drac valley, and the snow-capped mountains in winter and spring. You will have the same view of the living room which includes a sitting area with fireplace, a dining area with a table for 10 to 12 people and a sleeping area with a sofa bed. Tenants will find firewood on the terrace and can make a fire in the fireplace. They must first open the air hatch and close it once the fire is out. 4 bedrooms are available on the first floor. 2 toilets, a shower, a bathroom, 4 sinks.
Alpine skiing 1800m-2600m on a hundred km of tracks Hiking in the Ecrins National Park. Cross-country skiing. Nearby activities: swimming pool, ice rink, tennis, bowling, quad, paragliding, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking with a guide, cinemas.
The station has a daycare center and a nursery school accessible to the children of tourists.

Chalet Orcières

La descente vers le chalet depuis la route où on se gare est un peu compliquée. Le chalet n’avait pas été nettoyé correctement par les locataires précédents

Ambiance refuge

Nous sommes resté une semaine dans ce chalet certe un peu vétuste mais avec beaucoup de charme, une soirée raclette devant le feu de cheminée, c'est très agréable, on ne se marche pas dessus car c'est très spacieux. Un accès a la station vraiment rapide. Rien ne manque coté cuisine, on se sent rapidement comme chez soi. Un petit problème reste l' accès depuis le parking, avec les bagages c'est assez compliqué, je pense q' une amélioration s'impose et ce sera presque parfait.

Week end à Orcières

Nous avons passé un agréable week end familiale à Orcières. Le chalet est une copropriété. Il date un peu mais est chaud et confortable. Il donne accès direct sur une cour privative où les petits et grands ont fait des batailles de boules de neige. Un stock de bois entreposé là permet d'alimenter la cheminée. L'accès à partir du parking est un sentier qui peu être verglacé alors prudence. Il n'y a pas d'internet et ça permet de couper un peu de notre quotidien connecté. Il se situe à 3 km de la station de Merlette. Vous aimez la montagne mais pas l'agitation des stations alors on vous le recommande...

Petit séjour sympathique

Chalet dans son jus, situé à 5-10min de la station en voiture, avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes. Points positifs : - la terrasse - l'emplacement (isolé) - les chambres / lits confortables - bien isolé (chauffage performant) - cuisine assez grande - la cheminée, très sympathique pour se détendre après une grosse journée. Néanmoins, les salles de bains sont étroites et l'emplacement des WC nest pas optimale. Le coin séjour est un peu petit, pas idéal pour 10 personnes. Il mériterait un peu plus de confort (fauteuil, coussins, plaid..) Dans l'ensemble, nous avons tous apprécié ce séjour au châlet.
