Spacious, peaceful, rustic charm

We had a lovely stay in Villeneuve-les-Maguelone this summer, five families consisting of 10 adults and 10 children from age 4 - 12. Outside there was a lovely pool and a large shaded area perfect for BBQs and long leisurely lunches when the weather was hot. Inside the rooms were large and spacious, some are more up to date than others and netting over the windows on the top floor would be beneficial so you can leave the windows open at night without mosquitoes coming in. Overall we had a wonderful holiday, there is lots nearby to explore (loved Sete) and we loved the pool and the space. Thanks Christine!

Great house ,garden and location.

We had our bi-annual family (12adult + 6 children) holiday at Christine's Domaine Saint Baudile , 06 - 13 August 2016. we had a great time, the garden and pool are amazing and children loved it. the house and facilities are clean and comfortable, also the BBQ and the al fresco dining. somehow everyone found it better than the listing. the super market very close also the beach at Pilou. we didnt try the local restaurant but the pizza take away was tastey, Christine very charming and helpful....thank you! we hope to come back. A Canadian Wedding at the Mansion

Myself and my husband were married at the Domain this past May. I have only great things to say about our stay and about Christine, the owner. As we were coming all the way from Canada, I was a little worried because I only had the photographs to go from. But the mansion was perfect, and our wedding was fantastic! We had a hard time leaving when our week was finished! The estate is situated in a very tranquil area, surrounded by vineyards, grassland and park. There is a major road not too far, but we could barely hear it. It was such a relaxing stay, we spent many afternoons lounging at the pool. I would recommend renting a car or bicycles, as it is just a little too far to walk from the beaches. The house itself is very grand with huge 15 foot ceilings, a spiral staircase and 3 floors. There are only 3 toilets, but we had 15 guests stay and never had a problem with wait times as the showers and sinks are separate. Christine the owner is amazing, any issues we had (which were very few) she made sure to fix them right away. She even got my husband allergy medicine from the shop when his allergies got really bad! She gave me great suggestions for caterers, photographers and florists to use for my wedding, all of whom were a pleasure to work with. She was always friendly and ready to help. There is also a gardener who comes everyday to work in the garden and clean the pool. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the Domain, and a very beautiful wedding! Thank you Christine for all your help!

Un moment inoubliable familial et dans un cadre typique

Je tiens tout d’abord à remercier Madame LAPEYRE, pour son accueil, sa prévenance et son authenticité. Le lieu est remarquable. Domaine éloigné mais pas de trop. Cette grande bâtisse est une demeure authentique avec une histoire. Les soirées dîners en extérieur nous ont remplis de beaux souvenirs. Nous avons trouvé ce que nous cherchions.. repos, et convivialité avec les concerts quotidiens des cigales. Merci encore.
