El Rancho 97 is well positioned, next to one of the nine pools in this very popular community, renowned for its rolling lawns and landscaped gardens. The villa has a front terrace next to the pool, ideal for keeping an eye on the younger members of the family, a large dining terrace with both charcoal and gas BBQs, and a roof terrace for private sunbathing with views over the Mar Menor.

Extended to provide larger bedrooms, BBQ terrace and kitchen areas, refurbishments include new fully tiled bathrooms, a completely refitted granite kitchen, double glazing, ceiling fans, new external and internal floor tiles and air-conditioning throughout. For winter bookings the front south facing terrace is nicely sheltered from any northerly wind and the villa has heating throughout. A large selection of books, CDs and DVDs are provided, along with a 37” LCD TV that has all the usual English channels plus Sky sports and movies. Guests are entitled to 50% discount for golf and tennis.

La Manga Club Facilities: There is something for everyone in La Manga Club. There are 3 championship 18 hole golf courses, golf tuition at the La Manga Club academy, a par 47 pitch and put course, 22 tennis courts with various surfaces many of which are floodlit and teaching facilities, paddle tennis, squash, bowling green, climbing wall, scuba-diving school, crazy golf, cycle hire and a luxury spa centre with gym and fitness studio, sauna, Jacuzzi, heated indoor swimming pool and beauty treatments. Horse riding is available nearby. The golf should be booked in advance, soft spikes are required and for the south course a handicap certificate. Regular club golf competitions are open to visitors.

Other Facilities: Within 10 mins walking distance there are a number of bars, shops and restaurants. In addition there are a total of 25 restaurants or bars to choose from on the complex or within a short drive, designer clothes and sports shops, supermarkets, banks, post office, chemist, doctor, dentist, petrol station and estate agents. There is a Fiesta mini-club, which provides supervised activity for children aged from 6 months to 12 years. The La Manga hotel offers entertainment until the early hours. With a hire car there are also many historic cities, market towns and fishing villages to discover off site. The villa has an information folder and maps available for use by guests.

We have been to La Manga Club many times and this is the best villa we have rented. It is conveniently situated near to supermarket and bars at the square, it is very comfortable and has a great sun bathing terrace. The on site manager was very helpful and we would certainly use the villa again

Certainly not luxury! More old & tired.

Nice & clean. In an excellent position. Kitchen & showers ok. Lots of cheap furniture, the world has moved on. I sat on a cheap nasty sun baked chair which exploded smashing my head into a ceramic light which virtually scalped me. 12 stitches & a cost of over 400 euros. The owner didn't want to know. Very disappointing.

Immaculate villa in lovely location

This was our fourth visit to La Manga, bur our first to the El Rancho community and we were really impressed with it. The well maintained landscaped gardens and pool areas combine to create a lovely environment and this villa is really well located within the community overlooking one of the pools.

The villa itself is delightful - the interior is of the highest specification, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The owners have also provided a selection of dvd's, books and guides to the area for the use of the villa guests. We went on one of the walks detailed in the villa's La Manga Hill Walkers Guide, up and over the hills that overlook La Manga - stunning views of the resort and out to sea.

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this villa and hope that we will be able to return in the future.

Perfect Villa

My Husband, 16month old son and myself stayed in this Villa is September 2010 and it was perfect. There was nothing we could Fault.

The Villa was spottless and as described. The Kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the balcony was spacious and perfect for dinning.

This Villa has Sky Channels including sky sports which was a huge plus for us travelling with a small toddler when you cannot go out at night!

The bedrooms and bathrooms where clean, beds comfortable and a very decend size.

There was also a washing machine which was perfect.

The pool was literaly outside the front door. we more or less had it to ourselves for the Week. The kids pool was just a tiny bit deep for my 16 mth old but the adults pool had steps into it so he was content playing in the pool there.

The location of this Villa with in La Manga club was perfect. just a short walk to a supermarket, shops,pubs and restaurants.

We rented a car which is recommended and everything thing else within the resort is only a sort Drive.

Our Favourite restaurant was Si Bar and Restaurant.This has an outdoor play area for kids which is perfect to keep them entertained when waiting for food. This outdoor area is Safe and kids cannot get out as it is part of the bar/restaurant.

The owner could not have been more helpful.The information provided is 100% accurate. His own website has everything you need to know about the Villa, La manga club etc. The driving directions provided we really exact.

We also hired a cot and high Car from the management company that the owner deals with and it was perfect.It was set up and waiting for us when we arrived.

I would highly recommend this villa to anyone considering going to La Manga Club and we hope to return in the near future.

We stayed at this villa in early April 2010 - the villa is every bit as comfortable as it looks on the website, very spacious and with all the extras one could possibly want on holidays.

We have stayed at a number of villas on La Manga Resort and they have all been first class - this one is as good as any of them.

A real home from home

We chose this villa after looking at many others in different areas of the La Manga Club Resort. We felt that the villa being so close to the pool was a real benefit for our 7yr old daughter and it's close proximity to local shops, bars and restaurants was very handy. In addition the owner had been incredibly helpful and informative, happy to answer my many questions! We were so impressed when we arrived at the villa, it was everything we had hoped it would be and more. It is definitely to best private accomodation we have ever stayed in. The villa itself is so well equipped and homely, we had absolutely everything we could possible have needed and it's location was great. Knowing that there were beach towels at the villa was a great help in being able to keep our packing down and having hairdryers in each bedroom was great too. We didn't use the air-conditioning much, as the ceiling fans were sufficient to keep the temperature down. My husband made good use of the BBQ and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some lunches and evening meals. This is the first property we have stayed in with a dishwasher and washing machine, which came in very handy. We were able to see our daughter in the pool from the front terrace area and when we were around the pool we were able to leave the front door open so she could pop in and out as needed. The villa is just 5 minutes walk from Bellaluz Square which had a decent sized supermarket and a great cafe, lovely restuarant (Le Bistro) and a bar, which was great for breakfasts, plus a pharmacy and a number of lovely gift shops. In just a 20 minute walk you can reach the Tennis Centre and it's many bars, restaurants and shops. Close to the Tennis Centre is an El Arbol Supermarket which is much larger and good for a bigger shop, it was reasonably priced. We hired a car at the airport, so we saved on the taxi fares and the car was useful for days out to Murcia, Cartagena and also getting around the site. There is a free bus available on the resort but we didn't need it as everything was so close and we also had the car. We went to La Cala Restuarant down at La Manga's private beach a few times. The restaurant itself has great fresh fish and seafood and the view is amazing. The beach itself was lovely for a change to being around the pool. We had such a wonderful holiday we have already made enquiries with the owner to return next year, we can't wait!

Notes:
We spend many months in the villa each year, mainly over winter. You can therefore expect all the creature comforts you would have at home, rather than the average holiday accommodation. In particular, the new kitchen with modern units and appliances is very well equiped with all the utensils required. There is one set of golf clubs in the villa, available for guests free of charge. Please let me know in advance if you wish to borrow these. You should bring your own golf shoes. In the lounge we have installed a 37 inch flat screen TV. TV programs include all the usual English channels plus Sky sports and movies. There is also DVD player with a good supply of DVDs and a selection of CDs, books and games. 10 paces from the car parking space there is a second entrance to the villa, via the French windows to the master bedroom, which is very useful for bringing in your suitcases or shopping. Smoking is only permitted on the 2 outside terraces and the roof terrace.
