Lovely and functional apartment in a very central location, close to many restaurants and shops, but yet very quite

Easy transportation with Piccadilly line to Heathrow airport and to everywhere in London

Mike and Caroline helped and assisted in any question we had

Very good location

This is a very good property in an excellent location with walking access to restaurants, theatres and central tourist sites, supermarkets for food shopping and buses and underground at Holborn.

The booking process with Mike was no problem.

The property was quiet, clean and warm although windows opened easily for ventilation. Linen and towels were clean and the beds were comfortable. The balcony was a nice added touch for the couple of days we saw sun.

The only minor comments I would make are that the kitchen was lacking in some basics; the small sharp knife was blunt, there was no chopping board and for those who want to cook there are no essential larder items which can be useful. However these are minor issues in what is a very good property that we would use again.

Excellent apartment next to Holborn station

This is our second stay in the exact same apartment and would stay again in a heartbeat! Great location by the Holborn tube station (2 minute walk) with a local Sainsbury supermarket nearby. Very spacious apartment with a full/queen bed in one room and bunk beds in the second. Apartment was very clean with all the necessary amenities. Plenty of windows and even a walk-out patio (didn't use much because of the rain.) The apartment is off a side street and I believe they've installed street lights since our last visit as the side street was much more well-lit than I recalled. Daughter and I felt very safe walking on our own later in the evening. The only concern we had was that the wifi was a bit slow, but this wouldn't keep us from staying again.

Clean spacious apartment with incredible location

We enjoyed our stay at Mike's appt. Mike responded to our questions in a timely manner and was very accommodating to our requests. The appt. was extremely clean on arrival and had all the amenities for our week stay. The location was perfect.. close to Holborn tube station (Covent Garden station is close too - about 5 mins walk), groceries (Sainbury's) around the corner, lots of restaurants, coffee houses and pubs within walking distance, several parks in the area for our toddler. We loved the 'My Old Dutch' pancake place across the street. The patio/terrace was great to relax on and safe for our toddler as well. Highly recommend this appt. if you want to stay in the city. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to London.

Great location

The flat is comfortable, well stocked and the location is perfect. Stores, restaurants and the Holborn Underground are all within a 2 minute walk. It is a great home base for exploring London.

Clean, bright, and a good location

Our family of 4 stayed in this flat for a week in late June. It was clean, bright, and up-to-date.

We particularly liked the ample patio accessible from the living room area via french doors. The location was an excellent jumping-off point for discovering London whether by foot, taxi or tube (Holborn station). There is a grocery store, a pharmacy ("chemist"), a good coffee shop, a pub and more within a block of the flat.

Our friends used the adjacent flat, which is offered on vrbo by the same owner. That worked extremely well: we each had our private space but could coordinate seamlessly.

The one downside of this flat was the noise from a nearby construction project. We bought ear plugs, which did help. However, until that project is complete, I would not recommend this flat to those who prefer to sleep in beyond 8 am.

Newton Street, post code WC2B 5EN. A very central location. The apartments are in the Covent Garden (WC2) area of the West End of Central London. They are 300m from the Covent Garden Piazza, and only a 5-minute walk to the British Museum, Oxford Street, China Town and Soho. There are many restaurants, cafes, clubs, bars and shops within easy walking distance. The closest Underground stations are Holborn, Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden. The Holborn Underground station is only 100m away with a direct tube service to Heathrow Airport.
