Bright, spacious, self-catering apartment (72m2) traversing third floor , 2 double bedrooms (opening onto courtyard Véranda); Bathroom with bath, shower and hair drier. Separate toilet; Fully fitted kitchen, microwave, washing machine and drier. Iron & ironing board; separate dining area. Large comfortable sitting room with parquet floors and French doors to sunny balcony overlooking the street. TV, DVD-Player. This apartment is exactly where you would want to stay in Nice; ideally located both in terms of exploring the city on foot and viewing the entire Riveria by means of an excellent public transport system. Nice is a very compact city. Everything is within an enjoyable walking distance. The area is busy during the day (plenty of shops, restaurants, pharmacies, bakeries, etc) but wonderfully quiet and safe at night. With its sidewalk cafes, miles of pebbled beach, grand promenade, picturesque old town, markets, art galleries and casinos, Nice is a fantastic holiday destination
We had a fantastic time, the apartment was light, spacious, clean and well equipped. The central location meant we were ten minutes from the beach and the center of town. The station was a short walk away yet it was lovely and tranquil in the Musicians Quarter. We also enjoyed your DVD collection. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we'll certainly come again if it's available.
We really enjoyed our Nice visit. The weather was warmer than normally at that time of the year, but while biking it was not so bad. This apartment is situated well. It was easy to take buses or walk to the tram.
We really rented bikes for four days from Holland Bike. It was 15 e per days. We didn’t go to the cave. We just left them locked into the corridor. Although we are retired, old couple, we managed quite well in the trafic. Almost everywhere in the town they have bikeroutes, but unfortunately the cars park on to them. Still all drivers were very polite to the bikers. We loved to bike in the Promenade des Anglais, and once we continued even to Antibes and visited at museum Picasso. But to the east or north of Nice comes very quickly high hills, we didn’t go there. We took also a bus to St Paul and visited in Foundation Maeght.
The whole Nice area is very nice, mayby we visit there again
We chose a city apartment in NIce so my teenagers could come and go as they pleased. Nice is a lovely safe city with a relaxed feel and yet has all the shopping, restaurants and beach life you could want. The apartment is a nice size with a well equipped kitchen. It was clean and as described. There are no beach towels, so you may want to bring your own.
Situated close to the railway station meant we went on several trips to Cannes and Monaco. The local grocery is very good. I would be very happy to recommend this apartment.
What a great apartment. Very handy for the beach - just a 10 min stroll - and main restaurants, about 15 - 20 min walk. You don't need a car as the place is only a taxi ride from the airport. We had a wonderful time eating out most of the time, either in the main area or in the old town. Les Viviers restaurant is just at the end of the road and the food is delicious. The chef came out on both occasions that we ate there and shared some of the secrets of the dishes. Tried lots of new dishes at the various places we visited and we both love French food and wine, so were in hog-heaven! This was our chance to escape family for a few days so had a lovely relaxed visit.
Beautifully equipped apartment with heaps of space. There was only 2 of us but 2 couples or a family with kids would be set up perfectly. Use this apartment - you won't be disappointed.

We stayed in the apartment during the first week of August. The apartment is centrally located near to the city centre and a short walk to the beach. On arrival we found it to be spotlessly clean and very spacious with all the conveniences of home. The area was also quiet and we felt safe walking at night. We ate out most nights but several food stores are located nearby. The apartment is a good base for exploring the surrounding region due to its proximity to the train station.
Overall we enjoyed our first visit to Nice and hopefully we will return. We would recommend staying at this apartment.
Apartment was very nice, clean, bright and airy and well equipped. Well furnished and there wasn't anything that we lacked. It was extremely hot while we were there so being able to wash clothes because everything got sweaty or stained with sun lotion was a real bonus and it was really nice that there was tea and coffee and sugar and toilet rolls waiting for us.We had a bit of trouble with the security lock on the door and having to lock everything in the right order but everything else was fine. It was in a nice area, very quiet, the apartment building was quiet and had a lift and the musicians quarter was lovely- only a few minutes from the rail station- we came by train on the TGV and no more than 10 minutes walk to the promenade des anglaise and the beach.
Bus travel was great, only 1 euro fares and being in Nice on Bastille Day was brilliant. Really enjoyed the parade and the fireworks. Nice is a great city, lots to see and do and the people are very friendly and helpful and most speak English.
Would recommend the city and the apartment and if you have not tried it the TGV or fast train from Paris to Nice is good. Very comfortable seats and great views if you get an upper deck seat. We really enjoyed our holiday there.
We arrived in Nice in the evening after a very pleasant transfer with Aer Lingus from Belfast. We found the appartment very easily in a quiet and peaceful residential area and it was a very welcoming sight with everything in place as detailed. Th layout of the appartment is excellent and the two well appointed bedrooms were excellent, especially as our daughter had decided to accompany us at the last minute just prior to her wedding.A short a stroll in the warm evening air brought us to a restaurant, recommended by the owner, and we had a lovely meal in the centre. The first few days we spent on the beach, which was a comfortable stroll of a few minutes, and in the evening we dined in some other recommended restaurants which were all very good and not expensive. Being in Nice for only one week limited our time but we did go to Monaco for a day, we had visited Monaco years ago, and the ease of transfer by rail certainly opens up all kinds of opportunity. The station is five minutes walk from the appartment. Being in Nice on July 14th was special and we enjoyed a meal on the beach followed by a magnificent fire work display to celebrate Bastille Day. Shopping, visits to the Old Town and flower market and walks on the promenade, all within easy walking distance, really helped us to appreciate our location. A couple of evenings eating in making use of the excellent local shops helped us relax and enjoy the facilities in the appartment.
We had a very enjoyable time in Nice and the appartment contributed to that joy. I would have no hesitation recommending this appartment to any of my family, indeed my daughter and her new husband may well beat us to returning, and my wife and I hope to return to do all the things we did not have time for last summer
Main street shopping (Rue Jean-Médecin), Promenade des Anglais and colourful old town. Mini train for pleasant easy tour of old town & castle hill overlooking Nice. Matisse & Chagall art museums boast best collection in the world. Home of Matisse still stands in the old town, appropriately bright yellow & beautiful, surrounded by tall shuttered houses & narrow winding streets. In this space you can enjoy the Monday antique market, Saturday farmer's market & a flower & fish market the rest of the week. Restaurants line the street inviting you to sit outside and sample the local delights. Airport-15 min by express bus or taxi. Railway station (Gare Theirs) 5 min walk- for trains to Cannes, Eze, Ville Franche, Monaco/Monte Carlo and Italian markets. Monte Carlo 22 mins. Tourist train to scenic mountain gorges and Alpes Valleys daily during summer months. Bus and train journeys along coast give breathtaking views of Mediterranean towns, almost always bathed in bright sunlight.
Must visit the perched village of Eze with exotic its garden and panoramic views of the coast. Have tea in the Rothschild mansion and spend the afternoon wandering through its beautiful gardens on Cap Ferrat. Visit the beautiful old town of Grasse to enjoy its perfume museum. Dont forget to view its clothes and jewellery of Provence exhibition and take a tour of the famous Moulinard perfume factory nearby.
Other Activities: Beaches galore in every direction. Apart from Nice, our favoiurite beach is Monte Carlo. It is super clean, very safe for children and has sand that doesnt stick. It also has two low jettys that are safe to dive off. (Toilets and cafes along the shore.) Get there early as the high rise city apartments that surrounded it casts a shadow on the beach in the evening. Art Galleries, Confrence Centre, Ice Skating, Casinos
