This wonderful Finca is owned by an old Menorcan family and is situated on a 40 hectare property with hunting lease. On request, can be hunted.

The finca has been completely restored. It has two levels and offers plenty of space. Central heating and dehumidifier as well as air conditioning are available in some rooms.

Ground floor: large lounge and dining room, kitchen, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, shower room.

First floor: Air-conditioned master bedroom with large en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.

Annex: Apartment with double bed and bathroom with shower.

Cultivation: Large play room for table tennis and table football, etc.

Outside: Large garage, large pool, terrace with brick barbecue, second terrace with large dining table.

Perfect Family Holiday retreat

9 of us visited Finca Na Bona for a wonderful relaxed family holiday week. The Finca was perfect for us - spacious and well stocked and fitted out but not so perfect that we were worried all the time about what the children might touch. The large playroom and mountain bikes were greatly appreciated. For us the setting was unparalleled - green fields and hills in every direction - and in our favourite part of the island, close to the idyllic and unspoilt Es Grau. We would love to return.

We could not find the Kayak that was advertised but this did not spoil our holiday at all. A couple of small issues for us:

1) It would be nice to have a house specific guide to refer to so we can quickly identify how everything works.

2) There is no fence to the pool (an issue with toddlers) but having said that it would spoil the ambience if there was.

Could be brilliant

This villa has the potential to be brilliant! However for me there were some key features missing. No wifi until it had been installed mid week even though it was advertised, had asked for a cot and 2 childs beds which were not provided a cot was delivered on request and we had to use mattresses on the floor for the other children. Not enough bed linen or even any spare. No pool towels or even clean towels mid week so we had to wash them ourselves. It was a stroke of luck finding the villa I feel better instructions or maybe a meet and greet should be provided. When we arrived late at night a party of 12 including 3 small children there was no drinking facilities (in previous villas we have always received a welcome pack of at least fruit and water however last year a lot more!!!). We enjoyed our stay it is in beautiful surroundings and close to the airport and port on a lovely island. I just feel with the right finishing touches it could be amazing!!

Owner's Response: Indeed we had some technical problems with the Wifi which we only fixed after four days (of which the first two were Sat + Sun). The baby bed had been forgotten but was delivered on the night of arrival. We are really sorry for the mediocre impression the guest got - we really want our guests to have a great time and do not spare time and money to make this happen. We just bought 4 mountain bikes and a kajak for the disposal of our guests.

fina bonca

I have just returned with my family, 11 of us now.

I must say in terms of facilities, well fitted and ample bathrooms - bedrooms - outside dining - sun and shade areas plus a very large pool and a games room the size of a small villa itself this lovely old Finca was one of the the best properties we have ever stayed in. The surrounding country side is stunning, and a feeling of total relaxation is achieved on arrival. Fifteen minutes from airport <not that you would notice> makes for a stress free arrival and departure. Es Grau, 3 min drive is a cool little place a couple of very good local restaurants, fully stocked small s/market and a handy local beach, great for kids. Plenty of other beaches within short drive. The owner is very helpful and saw to all our needs efficiently and quickly. We will definately be returning.

Ample and luxurious property

We really enjoyed the space and character of the old but excellently refurbished minorcean finca. There is all you need to have a great time with the family! Huge pool, table tennis, table soccer, 5 mountain bikes ,etc. etc. Owner was really nice and helpful and replaced things we broke the same day.

100% Enjoyable

We stayed a few days only in Finca Na Bona and had a fabolous time. The location is perfect just between the beach of Es Grau and the island's capital Mahon, both in less than 10 minutes. The villa is very well and tastefully furnished. The central heating works perfectly, if needed. We had a few chily days... but will come back in the summer!!!
