Fabulous piece of Paradise!!!!!

I've been meaning to write this review since we returned home in April (2017)- but life just gets busy sometimes - especially when you have kids...... Sorry to Jorge & Angie for taking a while as they were so very helpful to us throughout our whole experience in booking & staying at their beautiful home. Coming from the U.K - my husband and I with our two boys, aged 7 & 5, wanted a dream holiday..........our first stop was Disney to experience the wonder and excitement and then my husband wanted a dream house on the beach to relax after our busy time there - bit of a tall order I thought at first! After much research online I found Ibis Landing and it looked from the photographs to be just what we were after..............I thought we might have some hiccups trying to book the house from abroad - but Jorge & Angie were so very helpful - they gave us all the information we needed - were happy to speak to me on the phone and posted the key to our house in England well in advance of our trip to make things easy for us. After having a wonderful time in Disney, we arrived at the beach house hoping that it would be all that we'd dreamed of - and when we entered the house the views took our breath away!!!!! My husband's parents met us at the house and they were equally blown away by the position and views of the house. We were all so happy to find that the photographs that advertised the house are all true to life and accurate, the house was lovely and clean, the facilities were brilliant and we couldn't have asked for more. The equipment that was available to use in the kitchen exceeded what we have at home, the homely touches of having games that the children can play with was awesome and the fact that DVDs were there to watch if we'd wanted them (if the kids got bored) was brilliant - but we didn't need them...... We hired a golf buggy to drive around the island which the boys loved - popping up to the shop several times to buy ice cream. We'd already done our grocery shopping (as kindly advised by Jorge) before we arrived on the island which was easy - and most of our time was spent on the beach, looking for shark teeth, swimming in the beautiful clear water and relaxing. The amazing lanai meant that if the boys were impatient to run down to the beach - we could still see them from the house - the beach is just so tranquil, all the men & boys enjoyed fishing and NOT ONCE did our two boys say "I'm bored, I want to go back to Disney"! THANK YOU

Awesome View!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is spectacular and the screened back porch allowed us to watch sunsets and storms roll over the ocean from the comfort of a couch. Kitchen was well stocked. Access to the beach was easy. We had an issue with the sink leaking and the power going out but the property manager was on it and handled the problems quickly. We would absolutely stay here again.

Being so close to the beach, this place was perfect for my young family. They had all the beach accessories we needed. You can’t beat the view. The most peaceful place we have ever stayed.

Exceeded Expectations

If you want to fall asleep listening to the waves, wake up watching dolphins in the ocean, and have a comfortable place to relax. Look no further. This beautifully appointed home will be your new favorite destination. The pictures do not do it justice. Plan your meals hit the grocery store come across on the ferry and disconnect from the world and be ready to relax. This is our new favorite place in Florida.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Don Pedro from the first time we set foot there. Being able to build Ibis Landing was a dream come true for us. It is the perfect getaway. Once we cross over from the mainland, all our worries are gone and a sense of peace and relaxation takes over.

What makes this property unique

While at Ibis Landing we enjoy everything from quiet days (no traffic, crowds, etc.) to long walks on the secluded beautiful beach. We have had so many special experiences with our children, watching dolphins jumping out of the water, many different species of native birds, and lots of shell. We have even had the opportunity to see manatees and at another time a sea turtle swim right by us. The natural experiences are limitless!
