VILLA CASA CUBA is situated on the modern development of Clube Golfemar which consists of high quality villas in a tranquil setting amidst tropical gardens and adjacent to the Vale de Milho Golf Course. The villa is situated in a Prime location - just 100m from the communal pool, children’s pool, and Bar/Restaurant. The property consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms, lounge, and dining room, and furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances. The Villa now has FREE high speed Wi-Fi Broadband Internet, and UK TV, Movies and Sports Channels. The Villa is south facing, providing stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from the lounge and master bedroom. It has its own private garden and partly shaded rear patio, which provides outside dining & BBQ. Sun beds and another BBQ are located on the roof terrace which is accessed via a staircase from the rear courtyard, and enjoys all-day sun and fabulous panoramic views of the coastline and mountains. The Villa is near many spectacular beaches, championship golf courses, and near to a small mini market, and 5 local quality restaurants. There are many attractions including 2 water parks and Zoo Marine just a short drive away.
COAST/BEACHES: There are some stunning beaches close by with the nearest Centianes being about 1km (10-15 min walk). Within 5 mins by car is our favourite beach - Praia de Marinha with its natural arches and rock stacks. The smugglers beach at Benagil and Albandera all have good beaches. Some have good beach restaurants. The coastline around Benagil is spectacular and the cliff walk from Benagil to Albandera is rated one of the best cliff walks in the Algarve. There are said to be 82 named beaches in the Algarve, not to mention the hidden coves.
GOLF &TENNIS: The Algarve is renowned for its excellent golf courses, and the owners are keen Golfers.
Casa Cuba is situated centrally to most of the best courses, thereby offering an excellent base for golfers.
Vale de Milho 9-hole par 3 course is on site - this is only a short course, but suitable for beginners and short game practice. The Nick Price / Pestana Golf Resort (Vale da Pinta,Gramacho, Silves and Alto Championship courses) are 10/15 mins drive from Golfemar. Pennina and the new Faldo and O'Connor Championship courses are all within a 15-minute drive. Salgados Links, Palmares and Golfe do Morgado are within a 20-minute drive. The Vilamoura courses are about 30 mins from the Villa.
Discounted green fees and special package deals are available on many courses.
Tennis can be booked at the Rocha Brava Tennis Centre, which is only a 10 minute walk from Golfemar.
CAR HIRE: Car hire is not essential, but is recommended in order to visit the many interesting places along this wonderful coastline, and inland to the mountains of Monchique. If you require a hire car we can recommend an excellent local company offering good value for money.
The Villa is owned by ourselves, Graham & June Butler and our son Paul Butler. We live in Preston and our son lives in Warwick.
Since our retirement we enjoy the winter sunshine in our Villa, and our son and his family usually visit at some time during the year.
We enjoy walking, golf and bird watching and good beaches to relax,

We chose Casa Cuba because of the beautiful views of the ocean, and the tranquil location. It is situated in a quiet Cul-de-Sac near to the Pools and now Newly Opened Restaurant/Bar Grill.
We wanted a property that enjoyed winter sunshine, good beaches, good golf and good walking,and Casa Cuba ticked all these boxes for us.,
When we first entered Casa Cuba and the electronic blinds went up we instantly fell in love with the wonderful views of the ocean.
We loved the gardens and peaceful location, the roof terrace ideal for the early evening gin and tonic or all day sunshine.
Besides all of that our favourite pastimes of, walking, golf and bird watching and good beaches to relax, are all available nearby.
We had a lovely holiday, It is so peaceful and relaxing, listening to the birds and watching for unusual birds landing in the garden.
The Villa has everything you could want and very well maintained.
Well maintained villa. We found everything as described and extra touches including beach toys and plenty of tourist information. The photos don't do justice to the view from the roof terrace. The location is in easy walking of a supermarket and several good restraurants, but nicely away from the road making it a great retreat for hanging out. The pool is close and ideal for a change from the local beaches. Attractions are close by and the West coast surf is only an hours drive. We had a great time and recommend you visit
The villa is well maintained, extremely clean and very comfortable. The owners have equipped it with everything you could possibly require, including internet TV.
There's a great folder of information on site with suggestions of places to eat and visit as well as instructions on how to use the various appliances. The villa is situated on a very pleasant estate and is only a couple of minutes walk from the lovely pool area and Lighthouse Restaurant where we enjoyed a couple of meals listening to a great live band.
The location is ideal, with a small supermarket only 5 minutes walk away and some lovely restaurants within easy walking distance. There are a couple of beaches within walking distance, but we found it easier to take the car.
Some good golf courses only 15-20 minutes drive and the coastal walks are very enjoyable.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to others.
All in all a great place for a very relaxing stay.
The villa was spacious spotlessly clean and felt like s home from home with lovely personal touches.The pictures definitely don't do it justice and the views from the roof terrace are stunning It's in a quiet location but within walking distance of some wonderful restaurants and the villa provides plenty of information about places and restaurants to visit . Local beaches are stunning.
The villa is lovely with stunning views! We found everything we needed and the kids loved the pool toys and buckets and spades which we made use of on beach days. The complex is ideal, quiet and well looked after. The pools are great and were never overly busy. Kids made lots of new friends and we enjoyed several nights up at the Lighthouse Bar enjoying a cocktail listening to the live bands whilst kids played safely in the park. At least 5 places to eat within walking distance and some do takeaway. 5 min drive into Carvoeiro itself. Our only slight negative was that temperatures were very high so without air conditioning the villa was feeling warm even with fans but believe this has possibly been introduced since our departure. Otherwise perfect villa in a perfect location and we are looking forward to return visit. Thank you!
This villa made our holiday so much more special, we have 2 young children and they providex everything we could possibly need from high chairs to cots and even buckets and spades for the beach! It was so homely and had everything you need ever need, it was clean and the views were breathe taking. We are already thinking about when we can book it again! Thank you June and Graham x
We are seasoned independent travellers who know the area well and have rented many properties in the Algarve over the years. Casa Cuba has been one of the best! The property was immaculate, with the best equipped kitchen I have seen in a rental property. There were even inflatable pool toys to keep our 2 year old entertained. The newly installed fibre broadband and excellent TV package was also a bonus (to anyone with young children). We particularly liked the electric shutters as they gave us extra peace of mind and welcome additional security. The Golfemar complex is quiet, very well kept with an excellent pool area and nice bar/restaurant. The views are excellent from the terrace. The local managing agent, Monica, is the best I have very dealt with, nothing was too much trouble and the minor issue we did have was resolved very quickly. We will be returning to the Carvoeiro area and will definitely look to stay a Casa Cuba again. 10/10! Regards, Paul and Sue - Sunderland.
Villa Casa Cuba is located 2.5km East of Carvoeiro and a 45 min drive from Faro Airport. The villa is situated near to the Rocha Brava holiday complex which offers tennis and gym facilities. There are restaurants, bars and a small supermarket within walking distance. Carvoeiro, formally a small pretty fishing village, is now a Cosmopolitan Resort that has not lost any of its former atmosphere and charm. It now caters for most holiday needs including a tourist information office, banks, pharmacy, a wide selection of restaurants and bars, a few nightclubs, boutiques, banks, chemist, butchers, bakery and local fish market. It has its own beach from which small boats can be taken to visit other beaches and coastal caves. It is in one of the most picturesque patches of the Algarve Coast. There are said to be 82 named beaches in the Algarve. The nearest large supermarket is Intermarche, which is on the road to Lagoa, approx 5mins by car.
Other Activities: Two water-parks, and Zoo Marine where you can swim with the dolphins. There are many spectacular cliff walks nearby.

Prices are for the property per week in Pounds Sterling. Price includes Maid Service which provides bed linen, towel change and mid holiday cleaning, if staying for 10 days or more. Longer term stays are available, subject to availability.
Changeover day- Saturdays from July to September. Flexible at other times.
Check in time is after 2.00pm and check out time before 10.00am.
Booking Notes: A holding deposit of £100 per week is required to reserve your booking. A security deposit of £150 is required pre-paid to cover any breakages or damage, which, if no damage has occurred, shall be fully refunded on your return from holiday, a cheque will be sent to your home address. The balance and full payment is required 8 weeks prior to your departure date.
