Contemporary styled new villa with heated pool

Bedrooms 2
Space 968 sq. ft.
Property type villa
Minimum Stay 7 nights

About the property

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps up to 4 people plus a baby cot. Heated pool.

Spacious villa with modern styling. Master bedroom and lounge have very high gabled ceilings creating a very spacious feel. Located in a peaceful resort, only five minutes from the beach and restaurants by car. Excellent place for young couples and families wanting a peaceful holiday. Good choices for places to eat and visit, but if you want a lively holiday this isn’t the location for you.

We have endeavoured to make the villa a home, and have everything available for your convenience. Heated pool, washing machine, flat screen TV with full UK TV package and DVDs. Dishwasher, amenities for babies. High quality memory foam mattresses. Cotton bedlinen. Outside eating area with a big built in BBQ. Extended large private patio. The villa is quite private compared to many of the others nearby, as it is on the edge of the development and has open views to the sea horizon. We have also had all adjoining lava walls heightened. Very private and peaceful.

About George and Louise Rashbrook

We are a family of 4 living in Wales. This Villa will be our retirement home one day. It was bought for the long term, and we invest in it and maintain it to a high standard as it will be and is our home. Sadly we only get there for one week a year, as we had this mad idea to run a Pub in rural Wales, which takes up too much freedom :(

Why George and Louise Rashbrook chose Yaiza

We scrutinised every plot from its new build state, and chose this plot specifically.

It is larger than most so has more land around it creating more privacy. It is on the edge of the development so it is not surrounded by other houses, which makes ours much more private.

You can see the horizon of the sea, and walk across open land to get to it. It is such a unique spot within the area and vs the others.

What makes this villa unique

We have young children and have addressed all family needs. We have supplied a microwave baby bottle sterilizer. Baby cot and linen. Black out blind in the bedrooms for total darkness, keeps it nice and cool too. Good quality hairdryer in master bedroom. Safe in bathroom. Fans in all bedrooms. High quality TV and sound system. There are alot of villas that you may have already noticed that look similar to ours. There are a number of things that we have done to differentiate ours: it is on the edge of the development and therefore is much more private and has open views to the seas horizon, others are penned in on all sides. Our adjoining walls are extended for total privacy. We have doubled the size of our patio, as the standard is small. We have used top quality bed linen, mattresses, curtains, pool beds, and outside area. We have landscaped the garden. The pool is heated.

Private, Quiet, Spacious

  • 4 of 5

We loved the location its perfect for us , as it's where we want to be, close to amenities and walks from the doorstep.

You get the evening sun which is important to us, and can sit in an undercover porch and has many places to sit in the sun or in the shade, or out of the breeze.

The villa was well equipped.and the beds very comfortable.

If you were being picky I would say that the double bed is too low, there needs to be a towel rail in the kitchen, and bathrooms.

Also the first week we were there is was unseasonably cold and there wasn't any back up heating in the villa, its the only criticism that I have as I personally feel the cold very badly.

The villa caretakers very kindly brought us a fan heater which helped, but I do feel that with our massively unpredictable climate changes that a double unit air conditioner that can be swopped from cool to heat would be a great advantage, or underfloor heating fuelled by solar panels.

All in all a very lovely villa to stay in, I can recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Perfect holiday, fab location and wonderful villa

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed a perfect holiday in this great villa.

Spotlessly clean, and everything here you could possibly need for a relaxing time in the sun.

The heated pool was an added bonus.

The location is ideal, shops and restaurants are all close by as is the centre of Playa Blanca. We hired a car, but it is not essential.

We will definitely be returning.....many thanks George & Louise for letting us rent your lovely villa.

Peaceful Perfection

  • 5 of 5

Loved the privacy and views, not to mention the brilliant shower and hairdryer! We had sunshine every day and drove to different parts of the island, always happy to return to our "home from home". The owners and villa managers are wonderful, always responding promptly to any queries. I had a wonderful birthday break. We would love to return. (Soon!)

Perfect Holiday Home

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this villa. It is in a very nice area of playa blanca with good road links to the rest of the island. We found the villa clean and tidy and at a nice temperature on a night. The wifi was very handy for the whole family and the TV channel selection great for on a night. The rooms are a nice size with comfortable beds. It is in a quiet area and this villa in particular has good privacy, with good amenities a few mins walk away. The pool is fantastic and kept clean and at a nice temperature and is probably where we spent 75% of our time. We also liked the fact it has gated areas surrounding the development which makes the estate more private. It has a nice promenade and a quiet road close by which we enjoyed for walking/jogging. Thank You.

Great villa

  • 5 of 5

Lovely villa with good quality furnishings and everything needed for a great holiday. Raised walls have made the villa very private and the pool area feels very spacious with a large garden area to the side. No noisy neighbours and secure access onto the neighborhood were welcome additions. The outside dining area is a great place to catch the evening sunset while sipping a g&t and the bbq and kitchen were more than adequate to cook family meals. Local bakery is only a short walk away and has amazing croissants and we also tried the nearby takeaway which does tapas or a roast chicken for a reasonable price. There are a few restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets in the same row of shops but we tended to head into Playa Blanca itself. The villa is quite a long way out of Playa Blanca so would recommend car hire but there is a bus service from the nearby shops. Having said that we would definitely go to this villa again. Cleanliness was excellent and the staff we met were friendly and extremely helpful. Villa owners were also very helpful.

Couldn't be faulted

  • 5 of 5

When you have never been to a holiday destination before before you are always slightly worried about the choice. Especially as in the case of my Girlfriend and I after a stressful year we just needed a relaxing break in the sun in a well appointed Villa

No worries then for you if you chose this fantastic property near Playa Blanca. We went in December so its just the weather you have to be lucky with. We just had one semi poor day out of our 7, most days @ 20 degrees which for the time of year was very acceptable...I would think in Summer it would be very warm!!...

The thing I have always been told about Lanzarote is that it is windy and although that is true that that is not always the case by any means.

The Villa itself is as described and has a homely feel to it when you open the door. The pool area is fantastic and we sat out every day. I also liked the sheltered part near the kitchen (for an evening drink to watch the sun go down) and was extensively used by us.

Being @ 2k away from Playa Blanca means you are in a very quiet area...However getting in is easy although I would say having a car is a benefit. We didn't use the bus but we saw one so that would be an option.

My girlfriend and I both run, and there are some great places to go....the Seafront walk way from the lighthouse to the port and variants of in particular was the best.

There are some great places to eat on the front in PB, but also look to the marina further along for some others...this was quiet when we went but is probably more vibrant in other times of the year..

I also played golf at the two courses further away on the island and they were very welcoming...its not Algarve Portugal or Costa del Sol Spain standards but very acceptable.

Do your research on the Island and there are some interesting places to visit for your personal taste...the landscape is volcanic so its not Green by any means but has a beauty all of its own. PB I would say is more relaxed than Puerto del Carmen...slightly more like the real Lanzarote.

So long as the owners keep it like this you cant go wrong.

Car: recommended

The villa is located in a quiet development. There is a mixture of residents and holidaymakers. There are views to Montana Roja (dead volcano), which you can see in the background of the photograph. This is a lovely walk to the top, and not as tough as you might think. We are near the sea, and five minutes across open land to the side of the villa, is a coastal walk with dramatic rocky coves and caves. There are amazing sunsets from here. The villa benefits from the breeze coming from the sea, so it never feels hot and uncomfortable as you have a cooling breeze most of the time. The roads are quiet so if you are nervous about driving you shouldn’t have any problems. Everything you need is close by.

The villa is on the edge of a residential area, and as a result offers more privacy and views to the seas horizon, unlike other similar villas in the area. It is very quiet and private.

There are sea side restaurants, Spa Supermarket, Bakery, General Store. You can walk if you are keen, but it is only a 5 minute drive. There is a local Bus Service every half hour to Playa Blanca which is modern and reliable.
