The apartment has just been updated, including a new Kitchen, new flooring and re design bathroom.

Apartment situated within walking distance of the ski lift and local shops. Chatel is part of the Portes du Soliel ski area which is one of the largest ski areas in France. The Apartment is fully furnished and sleeps 6 people comfortably. The apartment is situated in Petit Chatel in a warden controlled flat. The kitchen has oven/grill, 2 hobs, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The living room has a dining table which seats 6 people and a double sofa bed. There is a south facing balcony from the living room. There is a double bedroom and a separate private bunk bed area. The bathroom has a bath and shower, and a separate WC. There is a private ski locker on the ground floor and a secure underground car parking space.

Useful location at the quiet end of the village.

Chatel is busy in the ski season. This apartment is in one of six similar blocks built in the late 1970s to 1980s, located at the quiet end of the village. It is near the ski-bus stop, but the apartment benefits greatly from an allocated underground parking space. Other elements we appreciated were the dishwasher and the effective heating system. Most importantly, the owner and his property manager were very approachable and helpful

Convenient and clean

Convenient and clean; well situated with the free shuttle very closed to the building ; also very closed to the skying facilities of "Petit Châtel"

Klein maar fijn

Een leuke woning , zelf een paar klein reparaties gedaan aan defecte dingen ( stoelen , stofzuiger etc. ) verder was de woning netjes en alles was aanwezig . goed gelegen , dicht bij piste lift en dicht bij bus halte . jammer dat er geen wifi was voor mijn dochter ( minderjarig )

Vieillot, à rafraichir

Appartement à rafraîchir, le canapé lit n'inspire pas confiance et doit être changé, un des accoudoirs est complètement cassé. Le ménage laisse à désirer, plusieurs toiles d'araignées pendent au plafond dans la chambre et marcher pieds nus sur la moquette est à proscrire. Le tuyau de la douche est trop court pour pouvoir rester debout (je mesure 1,85 m) et impossibilité de prendre un bain, le bouchon de la bonde de fond a disparu. Le casier à ski ne ferme pas complètement , en tirant un bon coup sur la porte entrebâillée, la serrure ne devrait pas tenir ... Attention également aux prises de courant électrique qui se détachent !

Seuls points positifs, la literie est de qualité et la vaisselle est en quantité plus que suffisante.

Owner's Response: Hi I'm sorry that you found the apartment not as clean as you would have like it. You should of spoken to the manager who would have been able to rectify this for you. As for the electrics. What is the problem with them? Thanks Martin

Car: not necessary

The apartment is located in petit Chatel which is a 10 minute walk away from the centre of chatel itself. The apartment is located only a very short walk from the nearest ski lifts and ski bus stop. Petit Chattel itself has a full range of services available. The ski bus runs a regular service through the day and into the evening.

Ski: The Portes Du Soleil is the largest linked ski area in the world: Journey through the vast French-Swiss ski terrain.

2 countries, 14 resorts, 208 lifts, 288 marked slopes, 243 km of cross-country skiing, 8 snow parks, 1082 ski instructors. Words are not enough to describe this area, you have to see it yourself!
